2019 Toyota Corolla consumer reviews

I have never owned a smaller car. I bought this one primarily for the fuel mileage and low maintenance costs. I was pleasantly surprised with the features and drivability.

Sorry to have to give a just okay rating to the 2019 Corolla, but this one has some problems. The cruise control downshifts the engine when going down hill s and not even on steep declines. Tachometer revs up between 3000-4000 frequently and for extended times, driving down gas mileage and possibly more wear on the engine. The backup camera is poor quality at night. The engine will lunge when starting to accelerate after stops at red lights, etc. Like my headline says, I have been driving Toyota vehicles forever, but if this was my first Toyota, I think I would pass next time and try some other make.

This car is perfect for me. It’s fun to drive, handles well and zips around town easily. I have had it for 2 years now and have not had any repairs or needed tires, it’s a low cost maintenance free vehicle!!

2019 Toyota Corolla SE. Toyota's reliable name is the primary reason for buying this car, and the looks and comfort of it are icing on the cake. Even have some friends looking to follow my path. Couldnt be happier.

this is my third Toyota and my second corolla. I had the same just a 2006 and would not trade in for anything! My 2006 I bought brand new the 2019 was bought used

Toyota is one of only a few cars that are well made. Good engine and CVT transmission is excellent. It get over 40 mpg on the highway, air conditioning works extremely well in keeping the car cool during the summer time. Tires are fairly cheap for this model when compared to other cars. Electric steering is extremely good.
