Love my car. Would have driven it forever.
I have, and still love the size and styling of this car. Lots of room in the back and it's so nice to have the 3rd row when I need it!

Very reliable vehicle I have owned.
Had this vehicle for 15 years and still runs great. Couple of minor issues, but is our favorite vehicle to drive. Still going strong at 160,000 miles.

most reliable car I have owned
It is super clean for its age and it has been the most reliable car for me. I have had zero problems with it. I recommend this car to anyone I know and that's how good it is.

Most Reliable car owned
Purchased with 1yr and 9k miles on it, now has 190k. Been through front calipers twice and other brake maint. Exhaust is still ok but leaks on manifold now, tires, oil and timing belt. Thats it! My son has driven for the last 5-6yrs and he is tough on cars but it just keeps going - i have to remind him to check the oil. Sometimes a little low.

Had it for 15 years
I have had my 2004 Limited V6 with front wheel drive for 15 years and it's still going strong. The only issue I have with it is that it's not great on snow and ice. Being in Iowa, this poses a problem but I haven't found anything that's better.

Most reliable and comfortable car I owned
I drove Toyota highlander for last 7+ years and about 90K miles, it is great car with minimal maintenance (regular maintenance and needed to change the tires and break pads once).

First Car I've Ever Owned
My Toyota Highlander is so roomy and comfortable, with leather interior and a sports rack on the top. The third row of seats folds down to have extra room for groceries or luggage. There is even a personal heater knob in the way back for the third row. The front seats have warmers, so if you are the only one who's cold, you don't have to blast the rest of the car to warm yourself up. It is a gas hog but we don't take big trips, so it's not much of an issue. Although, we were at 3/4 of a tank and it cost $16 to top off that little 1/4. We recently moved to Colorado so we needed a vehicle that will be reliable in the snow. It's only August so we have yet to experience a Colorado winter, but from what I've learned from the locals, a 4 wheel drive is what you want and AWD cars tend to stay in the garage until spring. The Toyota Highlander is a 4 wheel drive and there's a button that says "SNOW" on it, but we haven't pressed it yet because we are afraid it'll make it snow, that's how cool this car is. Our car is white and we hope that once it does start to snow, we will be able to see it and it won't disappear into the background. The ride is smooth, even when the road is in need of some repair. The visors can extend which is so nice when we need to shade our eyes from the afternoon sun. My one concern is the driver's side visor does have a warning about rollover danger and advises against sharp turns. I'm grateful that there is a warning at all, as I like to be an informed consumer, but I didn't even notice this until a week after purchase. I bought this car used and as a whole, I am very happy with my purchase. I feel that as a first time car owner, I couldn't have made a better choice.

Best Car Ever
Bummed to see it go, but it was time. My whole family loved this car. If you are in the market for a used SUV and you can get one of the older body style Highlanders you will love it. Built on a car chassis for a really smooth ride. They're great cars overall.
