Very reliable but too big for us.

This was a fine car but it just felt too big for us. Getting in on the passenger side was difficult for my wife (has bursitis in her hips) and for my mother-in-law (in her 90's). The Toyota Entune system was a pain and seemed to cut out just when we wanted to hear was was being played. The bluetooth phone system was excellent and without any headaches. Lots of interior space especially in the back and the interior finishing was excellent. Never used the 3rd row seating so can't comment on it.

Big enough for family and big people

Wife drives it daily; we take it on road trips. This is our second Toyota. Highlander's bigger than the small Rav4 which was cramped for a 6'1" driver, so we got the bigger one.

Mid SUV has good looking outside but least inside

The car has a good performance accelaration, but the thing is the dashboard doesn't looks good also back seat for 3 people didn't comfy at all even all kids sitting in the 3rd row. The car needs bigger heist in the third row and taller. Also the thin seat made worst the butt for whoever sitting in the 3rd row.

I love just about everything about my highlander

I researched many vehicles for months and knew all of the negative comments about the 2016 Highlander before I made my purchase. I was upfront with my sales person about my concerns, all of which were addressed. When I first purchased my 2016 Highlander xle, October, 2016, the more I drove it, the more features I found, the more I love it. Beginning with the "silk feel" of the steering wheel, the dash storage shelf, (which I will not give up) rear captain chairs, etc. I would like to see cruise control more easily accessible. As I tow a camper and I have looked at other vehicles which may make towing less worrisome, it would be very hard to get me out of my Highlander. This is my second. First was a 2003 Limited, which I also loved. Actually, a v6 turbo Highlander would solve all of my problems. Toyota, please make me a turbo v6 Highlander!
