Highlander-roomy, easy to drive and dependable!

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

Best vehicle I've ever owned

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Buy Toyota, you can’t go wrong.

I’ve had no problems with my Highlander since I had it. I just keep up the maintenance and it drives as smooth as it did when I first got it. The other thing I like about it is the roomy comfort it gives and that it’s heavy enough to handle the road. It huges the road in curves so good. I am truly satisfied with my Highlander.

very good

Me and my family really like our Highlander XLE. Its super reliable (like always) and its a great family car. The Highlander gets decent fuel economy, its quiet inside, its quick, good interior quality, and comfortable ride. The Highlander is also very spacious and the opening rear window is super useful to get into the trunk quickly. The shelf on the dashboard was very useful for storing. We also really like how the facelift looks. The exterior looks very handsome and in my opinion, the Highlander looks better than the Honda Pilot. The things that we don't like about our Highlander is the technology. The navigation system is very laggy and hard to use. The Highlander also doesn't come with apple car play or android auto. The charger outlets for the second row are also hard to reach since it is near the floor. The outlets are hard to find especially when it is dark. We also found out the third row to be very uncomfortable. The third row is very cramped and it has no leather armrest. But overall, the Highlander is still a very good family car and it has been our favourite car.

Unhappy owner. Most money I spent on a vehicle eve

Had some electrical issues. Now experiencing leakage through my back right passenger seatbelt opening. Problem not resolved. Wheels were chrome looking and are now scratched up due to the winter weather. Definitely having problems. Bought from dealer, still paying for it. Not happy considering it's still fairly new.

2017 Highlander

Has a good ride, handles well, good fuel economy for the size and weight of the vehicle. Transaxle was replaced by dealer in June 2021 with no hassle.

Wonderful Ride

We chose a Toyota again because of the value, safety and features we wanted. We have owned Toyota vehicles for over 30 years and have found them to be reliable and workhorse cars. We trust them to build a great car and are not disappointed with our newest choice! Thanks again for a wonderful car that we look forward to driving for years to come!

Perfect for the Price vs. Tahoe

This SUV is perfect for a very large family and comfortably for road trips. Teenagers tend to remove seat belts during travel to get comfortable, however with the reclining seats in all 3 rows, and sensors to inform the driver of which passenger isn't secured properly. This Suv also fits into the standard garage openings, length and height is perfect without a 'close call'. The only downside is parking sensor in the front would be a great addition but other than this the vehicle handles wonderfully even when large gusts of wind catch the vehicle on road trips and it doesn't spook you nor all passengers. Very quiet ride, exceptionally smooth over bumpy roads and being 4'10" with husband of 6'5", teenage boys ranging from 17-12 and 5'9"-5'4" in heights all of us ride very comfortable with luggage as well in the rear compartment. Definitely beats the Tahoe heavy price tag and more reasonable in overall luxury.

Finally have a car I'm very proud of!

This car meets and exceeds all of my wants/needs. It is a beautiful vehicle inside and out. It's very clean and well kept prior to me purchasing it. I can't wait to take my family on a vacation now that we have plenty of space to pack all of our things and then some. It's perfect for our growing family.
