Great car!
I love my Highlander Hybrid Limited! It's super comfortable, the captains chairs are perfect for my kids, it drives very smooth, and it has a ton of space. The only downside is that the mileage is around 22-25mpg, not the 27-29mpg as advertised.

Disappointed in 2017 Highlander SUV
Noise in rear end. It sounds like a rubbing noise when braking slowly to a stop. Very annoying and it is loud at times and other times it does not make a noise. Have taken to dealer twice. Road noise is more than expected with this price vehicle. Dealership is not very supportive in resolving the issue. Navigation and radio system requires a long reach and is dangerous to operate when driving because it requires too much time and concentration. Maps are not near as good as the Garmin GPS system. Car cuts engine off at each stop light. To discount this feature it has to be turned off each time the car is started. Have had some issues with electric tail gate not functioning properly. Backseat has less room than other competitors SUV?s. Adults would be very uncomfortable using them. Dealership doesn?t seem to be interested in supporting customer. Don?t know if this is a Toyota organization trait or the individual dealership but usually the dealership minors the company policies.

Great value for the money
The 2017 (and newer) Highlanders come packed with safety features standard from Toyota. This, coupled with an updated exterior design and a comfy, spacious interior, makes it a lot of bang for your buck. The new 8-speed transmission is very smooth, and the ride is very quiet when cruising. I would recommend the V6 model, as you'll need the power if you plan on moving a lot of people and cargo. Also, it says it fits 8, but the reality is that the third row can fit three kids comfortably, not adults. Still, the space is incredible. I am still really enjoying the vehicle.

Best SUV I ever owned!
Typical Toyota quality. Great functionality and overall value. Test drove the Honda, Lexus, Acura and decided on the Toyota. Easy to drive, handles well, excellent space and very comfortable. Best resale as well.

2017 Toyota Highlander LE AWD
This is the most expensive vehicle we have ever purchased, but it has everything we wanted in a mid-size SUV. Just purchased 2 days ago and have only driven it home from the dealer. Wonderful ride on the freeway and around town. Super comfortable with all the technology we wanted. I like that the V6 engine now has 295 HP, as the 12-16's with the V6 have 270 HP. Lots of things are standard on the entry level trim LE. We traded in a 2012 Highlander to get this and the 2012 was a great vehicle; nothing wrong at all with it, we just wanted a newer one with the tech. and low, low miles. Try to get a certified one if you can which means buying from a Toyota dealer.

Very comfortable and very smooth to drive.
It is all I needed for the vehecle I am looking for, reliable, comfort, style and safety. Exact seats I need to pack my family. Although has a very limited luggage space, I bought a hitch and solved my luggage space issue.
