Owner

My highlander is very stylish and comfortable and up to date on technology. It also helps that it has driver assistance.

2017 Highlander - Review after 1500 miles

I really want to love it but there are a couple things I just cant get over. 1) Road noise on highway - best way I can describe it is sounds like you are inside of the tire. 2) whistling noise coming from the passenger side from 30 - 50 mph. I have heard others complaining of the same issue. 3) Biggest issue - performance. I believe the engine has the power to get the job done however the pickup is really lackluster. I came from a 2007 pathfinder that had much more pep. Its almost seems that the 8 speed somehow sucks the life out of the motor. Also, around 3rd - 4th the engine seems to rev at high rpm producing lame results.

Individual tire pressure missing on the Multi-info

On the 2017 Highlander the individual tire pressure for each tire is no longer available on the multi-information display. This has been one of the most liked features on all cars. Ford GM and Toyota had it for two years. I was disappointed after I paid $44,000 dollars for what was going to be my dream car. For that reason I will not recommend Toyota -They increase the price and then cut corners to save a nickel.

Great, safe car for the family.

Wanted a safe reliable vehicle for my wife and kids. So many safety features. Nice ride, comfortable seating, third row for extra passengers, and good handling. I usually drive trucks mainly, but with all the features in this car, I like to snag it for longer trips.

2nd as good as 1st.

My first Highlander was still going strong after fourteen years. My 2003 Highlander never required my more than tires, batteries and the required timing belt replacement. It was absolutely best car I ever owned.
