Most comfortable car I've owned.

This is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. I like the hybrid version because I can save money on fuel. It runs very quiet. It has a very smooth ride as well. I would recommend to anyone considering a new or certified vehicle, check out the Toyota Highlander Hybrid SUV. The high quality of workmanship is very noticeable. I pretty well use this vehicle on a daily basis. My wife absolutely loves this vehicle. We also appreciate the safety features that came with the car. By the way, the third row of seating is pretty well designed for children. I have had a full grown adult on many occasions sit in the middle of the third row so their legs can stretch out between the second row of captains chairs. When considering ordering this car, definitely get the second row captains chairs, not the bench seat configuration. We also like the Toyota reliability aspect. Our model is the Hybrid Limited Platinum. We bought ours as a Certified vehicle. Our 2006 Toyota Sienna got us excellent usage. We put on it over 206,000 miles with no major issues. The biggest negative issue for us, is when someone is sitting in the middle of the third row, the cup holder between the second row of captains chairs has to fold down out of the way, leaving only the cup holders in the doors that are somewhat usable.

Love the ride

Although I drive this car 99% of the time, it is our family vehicle. This time, we decided to go green. Love the fuel efficiency and comfort. All good things to say except that the dog doesn't enjoy it as much as the van. We wish we had a bench seat in the middle row and the console is a bit high for her taste.

I love all the features of the new Highlander Hybrid! Heated, cooled seats, sun roof, navigation and safety features, remote gate open/close by remote or manual, 7 passenger leather, CD player, tow package, great gas mileage!!!

So far,so good

I just a typical Toyota, get in and go. Change oil, only this one says 10,000 miles first! It has one flaw in design, the GPS is stationary and does not rotate out of the sun. During certain times of the day, I cannot see the screen at all. Color combinations are limited. We ended up with a black exterior to get the interior color we wanted. After vowing to never own another black car, here we are. Seems like if they make it, you pay a lot extra for a "Limited" model and the only limited thing about it is your choices.

petershs

love the city mileage, too high in price, need more incentives, a bit stiff handling, front leg room is great, but could use a bit more room in front.

Most Sophisticated Car I have ever own!

After driving the all other SUV, Highlander Hybrid Platinum was by far the best value for my money. It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Lexus and it handles almost like a sedan. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology! If you're looking for a new SUV in this segment, put this one on your short list to test drive.

Great family vehicle

Good gas mileage (for an SUV) with Hybrid. Good looks. Tons of features. Safe. Good power (for a Hybrid). Based on statistics, this vehicle should last for a long time.

We'll thought out features, much more than others

This car doesn't look a big as it is. Leg room is fantastic, my son is 6' tall and he loves it in the back. The ride is one of the best I've felt in years for any car in this category. We bought it as an investment for at least 10 years and we know it will serve us well. It is our 8th Toyota. Celica, 3 4runners, 2 Venzas......Highlander Our son will be driving in 2 years and we wanted an up to date safe vehicle.
