My wallet loves it! My best mileage was 52 mpg.

The car is a hatchback and has plenty of room. It is very economical and has performed well for 95K miles. Unfortunately the catalytic converter just went bad and it's out of warranty so I'm looking at a $1400.00+ repair bill (on a 9 year old car) if I have it fixed.

Best Hybrid!

My first Prius, and unless I win the lottery and can afford the Tesla, I will never drive anything else.

My wallet loves it!

The Prius is comfortable, reliable, ECONOMICAL (48-54 mpg), roomy for hauling stuff (the back seats fold down flat), and not bad looking. Also, my dealership bent over backward to take care of the maintenance, even going so far as to loan me a car so I could get to a doctor's appointment while my car was in for routine service. Very nice people.

2008 Toyota Prius is in excellent shape

This car is in excellent condition. It drives very nice and does get great gas mileage. Tires are new and has had a very recent spark plug change.

Very reliable and economical vehicle.

This Prius is a hatchback, and has a lot of room with the seats folded down. The car can actually teach you how to drive to get better mileage, not only out of this car, but any car. The dealership/service department bend over backward to keep the car running perfectly, and to keep me happy. They've even allowed me a free loaner every so often when the car was in for service.

A reliable and well engineered daily driver

I have had my 2008 Toyota Prius for close to a decade. The car has been shared with family at times during these years. While the car's design is on the modest side, the level of comfort along with the amazing miles per gallon numbers make for an amazing daily driver. Numerous long term trips have come and gone without any issues. The interior is comfortable and provides all of the necessities along with wonderful and comfortable seats. Overall, the vehicle has been very reliable and a pleasure to own and drive.

Most reliable car I've owned

What I love about the Prius is obviously the gas mileage, but it's especially nice that I haven't had to spend a dime at a mechanic shop. I've had this car almost 6 years now and never had issues. The headlights which is the only thing I've had to replace are expensive, but they're also a lot brighter (better). Everyone who's driven my car has been impressed with the acceleration also, it has a kick but sometimes can lag in starting to accelerate when you first push the gas petal, then it suddenly catches. Some annoying things about the Prius are that it rides low to the ground so it bottoms out and hits easily. If you drop your cell phone or anything between the center console and the seat, it will take some time to retrieve it; which is really frustrating. Overall, this car is awesome, I'm keeping it forever and would recommend it to SMALL families or single people with dogs :)
