Efficient, great value, minor design issues
Great car overall, but has a few annoying rattles...from the consol & the glove box. The rearview mirror was loose & the spoiler is also loose. Avoid the 17" wheel option on the Prius level 5..it causes the car to ride harshly...and rattle.

The Future of Automotive Design
I have owned this car for 2.5 years and love it. This car is super practical. Roomy inside and yet can fit in almost any street parking space in Manhattan. Mileage can't be beat 45/50! Had to get used to the electric motor, but know don't even notice. Love the fact when I am at a red light the engine shuts off. All cars will one day employ similar technology. In fact if I drive a non-hybrid car now, feels weird when engine still runs at a red light.

'10 replaced my '08
I lost my 2008 Prius to a hail storm. This 2010 is my second Prius and the only car I would drive. When shopping, I looked at Honda, Ford and Chevy. The last car that I drove that day was a 2012 Prius. That sold me that Prius is the only thing I want.

Love my Prius
I own a Lexus, a BMW and bought a 2010 Prius V used with 30K. Bottom line is that the Lexus and the BMW sit undriven and I drive the Prius both around town and on longer trips. Around town mileage is 46 (I can not get the high mileage some report) and on the road is 53-54. I just set the cruise on 67 and roll on. No problems, lots of fun, comfort, and the usual toyota reliability.

Prius is a pleasure
With gas prices going toward $4 per gallon this is a great car. Toyota makes a very high quality vehicle.

This car flat out delivers
I've had my 2010 prius for a little over 2 1/2 years and love it. I consistently get over 50 mpg on my 40 mile daily commute. I live in the rockies and this car does perfectly fine through snow and ice in the winter (during the winter I average about 47mpg do to the cold). The interior is high quality - not lexus status, but very nice for a car in this price range. There's tons of trunk room, head room, and leg room. I have two large dogs that I take on long trips on a regular basis and never feel cramped with them, a passenger or two, and all the luggage. The car has plenty of power for passing other vehicles when needed. This has been the most reliable car I've ever owned, toyota has been doing hybrids for close to 15 years now and if the idea of having a car that has a $7,000 battery is a little scary to you just know that the battery is warrantied to 150k miles. If the slightly strange looks of this car aren't a deal breaker for you there's no reason not to get one.

This is a great car
I bought a used 2010 Prius in March of 2012. It is a great car. It is getting over 50 mpg all of the time. This is very impressive and is the main reason that I bought it. It handles well and has plenty of power for the hills, mountains of West Virginia and western Maryland. My Prius had 50,500 miles when I bought it. I also purchased the Toyota Platinum Service Agreement from the Toyota Dealer just in case. I hope it is never needed but I'll have it if I need it.

Prius V
Actually fun to drive - seeing just how far you can get the mileage in your favor. Car feels substantial for a compact is roomy enough for our family of four. I drive it 80 miles daily and love the features - blue tooth for my iPhone works seamlessly for music and phone (in that order for me) Car accelerates well, but prefers either city driving or highway cruising. Mileage improves by almost 7% once the weather warms up although winter wasn't bad. Overall great value.
