Love the gas mileage
Going from a car that was getting 30 mpg to a car that gets 45-50 mpg is going to save me $150-$200 per month on gasoline bills. I feel a bit more "comfortable" with paying nearly $4 per gallon.

Nice car, great mileage, Toyota could do better.
My 2011 Prius makes my fourth that I have owned. I buy the Prius for mileage. For the price of the car, Toyota could make some inexpensive, yet noticable improvements. Two glove boxes; only one is lighted. The small package shelf under the gear selector is not lighted in any fashion, so it is do dark at night, good luck trying to find anything placed in that area. While the car is quiet from wind noise, it is not all that impressively quiet from road noise. Toyota also needs to update their exterior colors. Also, the back up beeping inside the car is a bit of an annoyance, when in reverse. The Prius is reliable and delivers great mileage. Too bad they don't spruce up the interior as other manufacturer's have done at the same price point.

Excellent vehicle
Prius IV. Excellent vehicle averaging 49 MPG combined. 2 months old and no compliants. It would be nice to have power seats, otherwise this is a very good buy for someone who wants to save money on fuel.

Excellent
First time ihave ever bought a new car and have had zero problems or complaints. I bought the Prius because I drive more than 100 miles a day, but the Prius is more than I expected. I enjoy driving it.

We love our Prius
We bought a new 2011 Prius 2 about 2 months ago and have been extremely happy with it. It has more power than we expected. It runs quieter than our Lincoln Town Car and drives more like our BMW did on the curves in our area. All of the surprises have been good ones. So far we have not been getting 50 mpg. We are averaging about 44 to 46 mpg but that could be due to the high hills on our roads and my jack-rabbit starts from stop lights. The mileage will probably improve when the car is more broken in, too. Both my wife and I love the car. It has excellent storage with 2 glove compartments, the center console, the door compartments, and the cargo area. We love the quiet ride and the ease of driving the car. It almost drives itself. So far we have no complaints about the car.

Better than we thought it would be
My husband is 6'4". We googled economical cars for tall people and came up with a list of about 6-8 cars. I buy the cars in the family and do the preliminary footwork. When looking at one of the Scion models which was parked next to a Prius, I remarked that I wish my husband could fit in one of them. The salesman said that the new ones were bigger and that he would fit. I said let's go and took a test drive. It was the one. My husband came and sat in it and we bought it. He fits comfortably and four adults are very comfortable in it. My husband averages 48 miles per gallon and I average 50 miles per gallon. We don't miss the pick up power when we remember to push the power button and we have almost made out car payment each month in gas savings (we live in a remote area and travel alot). We love the car and our new second car in a year or so might turn into the new bigger Prius to replace my Honda Element that I love. I would have kept buying them had they not stopped making them. I thought they could have done better with the gas mileage though. They were great with tall people. Our sons are all 6' or better.

Prius is a GREAT car !!
I bought a Prius level 5 with Nav in October 2011. I really needed a high mileage vehicle since I am 10 to 15 miles from anything, one way. My fuel bill was getting ridiculous in my 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali at 12 mpg. The Prius regularly gets 50 mpg. The level 5 includes 17" wheels, heated seats, leather, and a few other features. The car looks a LOT better with the 17" wheels than the standard 15" wheels. The only thing it took time getting used to was the visibility via the rear view mirror and the side view mirrors, which may have been because I am tall and used to the higher driving position of the Yukon. Overall, I love the car and the mileage is fantastic. I am saving almost enough in fuel to pay the monthly payments.

Wish We Had a Prius Sooner
We really love this car. Perhaps our main concern was the comfort of our (tall) teenage sons in the back seat, but that has not been a problem at all. Always feels like there's lots of room. The only upgrade we got was the JBL sound, and we're glad we did. Nicest car sound we've experienced. Most importantly, car drives terrifically well, it's comfortable for all of us, and it's a pleasure paying so little at the gas pump. Highly recommend!

Love it!!!
I've had my Toyota Prius for about 2 months now and I am averaging 42 MPG because I do a lot of hiway driving and also stopping and starting. It has enough pick-up for me but my son thinks it's a little sluggish on take-offs. It's very comfortable and I really like the information panel in the dash. I think it's wonderful and would highly recommend it!!!
