It couldn't be better!

I purchased the 2006 RAV 4 Limited edition, with factory insalled leather heated seats. All I can say that this is a perfect small SUV! The V6 power rivals many other V6 sports sedans out there. That accelerating rush can really push you to your seats. The safety features are outstanding. The vehicle stability control coupled with the electric steering in ingenious. The style is incredible and macho, yet humble and friendly. The extra cargo and passenger space is very welcome. This is a nimble and maneuerable SUV, and it's also thrifty on regular fuel. You cannot go wrong with this excellent SUV!

IT'S THE BEST

I HAVE OWNED THE V6 SPORT MODEL FOR 3 MONTHS NOW. I AM VERY PLEASED AND IMPRESSED. POWER AND RESPONSE IS GREAT. GAS MILAGE ON AVERAGE CITY/HWY HAS BEEN 24-27. CARGO IS GREAT AND FLEXABLE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT SO FAR IS THE TAILGATE, IT IS HEAVY AND INCONVIENT AT CURBSIDE PARKING. OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT!!! BOUGHT IT IN RUNNEMEDE; CHRISTIAN WAS GREAT.

SUV guy

I bought this SUV new and I really enjoy it. I have the V6 Sport 4x4 model, it has plenty power, good handling and interior space is large enough for 5 adult.

Satisfied Family

we bought this in April before our 2nd baby was born figuring it was big enough for a family of four. I felt a car would be too tight and a mini van way too big. So this was the perfect "in between" vehicle that fits 2 car seats (and mom) in the back and we got the 3rd row seating so there's room to grow. We are very happy with this car, looks great, drives great, comfortable and affordable and reliable (as all toyotas are) Highly recommend.

Love the Rav4

I purchased this car in February 2006 after considering the Jeep Liberty, Honda CRV and others. I was sold on the Rav4 as soon as I drove it. Smooth acceleration, tight turning radius, and just plain fun to drive. It's been through snowstorms in the Sierras, and up and down the CA coast many times, and has performed beautifully. This is one car all the drivers in our family beg to drive.

Avalon V6

I would have never considered the RAV4 before it had the Avalon based 3.5L V6. The test drive sold me. I was considering a Scion TC. The TC was nice, but felt underpowered (100hp less in fact) and it only gets one MPG better than the V6 RAV4. The RAV4's mileage is hard to beat for a V6 with 269HP, 22 city/29 Highway with the 5sp auto. Styling reminds me of a Matrix on steroids. It looks good. The interior is very comfortable, although I agree with another reviwer, the seats could be more plush, but their fine overall. I'm still looking for 0-60 data, but it has to be pretty good. In CA, it comes with plenty of safety features, including side and curtain airbags, electronic stability control, 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS, and Hill descent control (I have no idea why I would need that), and a few more safety doodads. The base model with the V6 is quite well equipped. That's what I leased and as far as I'm concerned, there's no downside to this vehicle. It's fast, fun, and practical.

I love the enhanced size and the distinctive styling improvements in the 2006 model. Of ocurse, Toyota's reliability is unquestionable.

Owner of a Rav 4

A well made vehicle that is fun to drive and gets good gas milage. Seats could be a bit more "plush" but that is the only complaint I have so far.
