Could have put more thought into the interior.

I upgraded from a 2011 Rav4 to this 2018 Rav4 Hybrid. I have had it a month and have put a couple thousand miles on it already. Overall it is fine, I like the improved gas mileage. We went from an average of 24 mpg to 30 mpg. It looks sharp, but the interior console doesn't make a lot of sense. A very large part of the space behind the steering wheel is taken up by telling me if I am in eco, ev, or power mode. I think this part could have been smaller. The speedometer which is on the other side is difficult to read because it seems small. The screen that is for audio and the backup camara, doesn't have an option to just show a clock when you want the screen off. The little shelf above the glove box is a bit useless, the old Rav had a door there so stuff didn't slide off. The older Rav had a clock that was easy to see and always visible and it had more cargo space. I know I had to lose some cargo space due to the hybrid battery and the fake spare tire, but I miss that space. As with new cars in this price range, there is lots of plastic inside and out. But it is a Toyota and I expect it will live up the the standards set by my other Toyotas I have owned. It is quiet going down the road and I appreciate the safety features that are standard on it.

Love my new RAV

This car is safe, comfortable, quiet, has great acceleration and gets good mileage. I went for the hybrid mostly because it?s got great pickup and I love the styling.

Excellent Drive

Car has great style, lovely interior design that is a great meet up of classic and sleek modern. Even the floors are lush. Driving is smooth and compared well to the Saab turbo engine on what I traded in. Love the different drive settings ECO and SPORT. The manual switch is great. Overall we Love this car, worth every penny. A few extra details like vents in the backseat or a cargo net included would have topped the cake.

Can't believe how quick it is.

This car meets all of my expectations. I wish I would have purchased this vehicle in 2016. My 2017 Outlander GT was too slow and bulky.

The best car

It has both comfort and reliability. I purchased this for my family. And the main question for me is comfort, safety and reliability. And this car has all.

Great Hybrid technology from Toyota

Traded 2017 Honda CR-V after one year due to uncomfortable seats during longer rides. Purchased XLE Rav4 Hybrid to replace. Comfort for us is a lot better. Mileage is amazing, 33.4 MPG combined with first 2,000 miles. Interior on CR-V was better, also had Apple CarPlay. This is coming on the 2019 Rav4, but we couldn't wait for new design. Overall very pleased with ride quality, MPG. Still own a 2014 Rav4 XLE with 60,000 miles that has had no issues. I can really tell the difference of suspension and ride quality from 2014-2018.

A former Honda loves her new RAV4

I have been a Honda owner since 1999 and have had 3 Honda CRVs since then. I believe Honda is missing out with no hybrid CRV for direct competition. My husband has been a loyal Toyota owner and loves his Prius so he got me started in looking at Toyotas. The RAV4 hybrid has the SUV size plus the hybrid for gas economy. Love the technology with birds eye view, lane exit alerts, collision alerts, lane change/merge alerts. Etune app is not the best and can get glitchy at times. The MPG is great in that I am getting twice in town in comparison with my old CRV. The drive is smooth in comparison to the CRV. I am still learning to drive a hybrid. It is something learned over time. I?m so happy with my purchase!!
