Great ride.

High tech and we feel safe while riding in the Rav. We love the high tech equipment and the Hybrid system as well as the stylish look.

Second RAV4 in the garage. Love it!

Traded in my 2016 Mustang for the 2019 RAV4. Having mobility issues and the Mustang was too difficult to get out of. I already own a 2018 RAV4 XLE, my wife's car. We love it, so I went to the dealership to get a 2019. After one test drive, I was sold. AWD, quiet, comfortable, and drives great. I don't drive with a heavy foot, but I also don't drive like an old man. Surprised to see that the mpg is still at 42.3 mpg! This includes a trip to the Northern California coast via freeway and winding country roads. It actually gets better gas mileage on the freeway, contrary to what Toyota advertised. Made several trips to Lake Tahoe and mileage remains pretty steady. Uphill it drops to 41.8 mpg, downhill goes back to 42.3. This is the base model with AWD, all season Michelin tires, all the safety goodies including steering assist (lane keep), adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and auto high beams. Can't say enough good things about it. Prior Toyota vehicles included my 2005 Tacoma PreRunner TRD and my wife's 2002 Highlander V6. Both went over 160,000 miles with zero problems. We expect the same from our two new RAV4s. Needless to say, happy owners.

Exceptional fuel economy

Great car with ample power and acceleration. Have owned it for 2 months and have covered 4500 km ( 3000 miles ). Consumption averages 18.3 km/let ( 44 mpg). Driving is split 50/50 city and highway. To achieve this mileage you have to be a little light footed.

Comfortable driving car

If Toyota still made the Matrix, I would have bought another. But, facing an expensive repair bill after 17 years and over 190,000 miles, we decided to buy a car that gets better gas mileage. With the Rav4 Hybrid I am getting 39 mpg in town so far. It is comfortable, roomy, has lots of great safety features, a smooth ride. I am learning to really love driving this car. Can't wait to take it on a long trip.

Great car! Completely redesigned!

I bought this car for the fuel efficiency, utility on snow/off-road, and space capacity. On top of all those needs, it comes at an extremely low cost for a hybrid vehicle. I've now owned the car for a week and have barely used any gas since I'm always in bumper to bumper traffic in a city environment. It has been a wonderful car so far. Only downside would be the limited capabilities of the inner car Entune system. I did not end up purchasing the Entune plus since I do not care for all of those requirements, but the base model falls behind other cars of its class in the radio design.

Not getting 40mph, do not believe all the hype!

We bought the new RAV4 Hybrid because our old Toyota Camry wagon finally died after having faithfully served us for 280.000 miles. We miss that car. We wanted an SUV because we have 2 large dogs and did not want muddy paws all over the backseat. I like the styling of the 2019 model but a speed bullit it is not. The 4 cylinder motor is not very powerful. We only average 37 mpg, not the 40 mpg you read about everywhere. So do not believe all the hype. Most of our driving is done locally, in Ecco mode but still no 40 mpg, most disappointing. Cabin noise on the highway is VERY notable and sub-par, another minus. All in all we are disappointed by the lack of power, mph and noise.

VERY nice inside, decent mileage, quiet 37mpg

Limited has all the bells and whistles, i got ALL the upgrades too. Replaced a 2001 Highlander Limited which I loved, but this is sooooo much nicer! The ONLY thing I think the manufacturer needs to offer is a 2” receiver that is in the middle of bumper. I had to buy asfter-market and install, which wasn’t bad but it lost me 3” of clearance in rear. Car is very peppy and I find it quiet after 1000 miles. You WILL NOT get the estimated 40mpg. I have been babying the gas pedal, and am squeezing out 36-37. I put in all the extras and LOVE the 360 degree “view”, heated/cooled seats, apple car play, and huge sunroof. I got the extended warranty pushed out to 10years, and 6years of full maintenance. Total car cost $47k everything included. A steal for such a quality vehicle.. I’ve had 6 prior toyotas and loved them all.
