Very reliable..an all seasons vehicle ..

Had the TR package.. well put together, quiet on the highway, easy handling..great visibility..rear camera a partical asset..excellent sound system (JBL)..V6 fuel/mileage ratio better than V8, but is what it is. TR Tow option great.. Plenty of tow power, trailer, boat etc. Low maintenance, only replaced wipers and head lamps, no other parts required replacement at 48k just regular scheduled maintenance own 5 years. 4X4 on the fly, great on snow. Great factory Bed liner and utility receptacle to run small power tools. Toyota needs to improve spare tire storage..removed spare tire and found frame rubbing through tire wall... Side steps a must and easy to install DIY project. Hold their value.

Best truck I ever had I put on a lift kit

I remember one time we put 7 kids in the back of my Toyota Tacoma and hit the mud trail... They had a blast even as they were all being completely covered in mud.. It's a great memory and of course we took pictures after... what's really cool is that later we realize that through all the mud that we went through we never got stuck not once

Love Tacomas

Over all, Tacomas are the best truck around! It's the only truck I have or would own, and the only truck I would suggest buying.

A great overall truck and calie

A good everyday truck! Double cab is roomy and well designed. Install trailer hitch has more than enough towing capacity. Only wish list item would be improved has mileage.

Great Investment!

I have zero complaint with my Tacoma. Very reliable and always ready to haul or move something. 4 wheel drive is great in poor driving conditions

Love my Tacoma

I have driven Toyota trucks since 1987. I love trucks because they are versatile. My Tacomas have always been very reliable, and when there has been a problem under warranty, it was very simple to get them fixed. I prefer the SR5 (formerly PreRunner) model because it sits up higher and provides better visibility of the road. The ride is a bit firmer because of the suspension, but personally I like it. I believe Tacoma is hands-down the pick of the litter of trucks in its class.

It's a Toyota but still has its problems

2012 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 V6 4x4 works like it should . 5 Foot Bed is too small in my opinion and miss the 6 foot bed. Overall decent mid size truck

Good truck with so-so mpg

I had wanted to downsize from a full size truck and chose this model - the crew cab extended bed. It performed well but I was disappointing in the MPG. Winter was about 15.5 and summer about 17.5. That's about what I had in my F-150. All features worked well, and the extended bed was quite handy. Overall, a good purchase.
