2018 Toyota Tacoma consumer reviews

I have had issues with the transmission since day one, when the engine is cold, it clunks into gear when its downshifting from 1st to 2nd gear, again when the engine is cold , it winds into gear when its shifting up from 3rd and on, when pressing on the gas pedal to get it up to speed, it delays to downshift hunting for the lower gear and therefore there's a delay, and lastly when its cold/warm and in 2nd gear and when the gas pedal is pressed, it delays . I will never buy a Toyota again, very disappointing.

Great truck. I love the new look and love the way it drives. Very dependable and will get a lot of use out of it.

I’ve always owned a Ford F-150, but the Tacoma beats the ford in every aspect, I’m very happy with the truck , and would buy another toyota

Reliable great looking holds it value peace of mind I had a 2000 Tacoma prerunner my favorite vehicle and the 2018 is just as good or better

For the amount I paid not worth it at all things are coming loose all over the front end and it’s all plastic I thing you should get more for the money they charge

Before 20km I had problem, first the wheel shaking, and loud noise when change from reverse to drive, they told me is brake pads, they change it, the guaranty don't cover, I paid for it, and the noise still, I take it to dealer 4 times and they said is normal,

Upgrading my 2005 Tacoma off road to a 2018 Tacoma sport. My previous Tacoma still runs like a champ, so I was more than happy to get another one. Love some of the new standard features such as the navigation system, new safety features that didn't exist in 2005. I do miss some of the extra cubby holes in my 05 that I was able to keep items like my work badge, but these are more just getting use to a new design I guess.

Love this truck. I use it for working around the house as well as an everyday driver. It works well for both. I will never not have a Toyota truck in my driveway.

The truck isn’t the most comfortable. The passenger seat rattles when driving. The windshield is easy to crack when rocks hit it. Overall the truck is great.
