It’s a Toyota truck what else is there to say!
Fantastic. Great fuel economy for a truck. Average suburban driving 20-22mpg. City 18-19mpg. Doesn’t feel like a truck, feels like driving a smaller SUV type vehicle.

Great Midsize Truck
Love this truck. I will look forward to an electric or hybrid model in future. The quality can’t be beat. Off road capabilities blend nicely with an every day driver with the TDR off-road package.

Initial purchase review during Break-in
Traded a 2013 TRD after waiting for some much needed 2020 upgrades. Night & Day difference! First off, the resale on these trucks make them worth the extra coin, plus both the safety tech and stellar reliability make purchasing a Toyota a no-brainer! The 2020 has the latest safety tech and infotainment upgrades, but the greatest two improvements were the standard power driver seat (finally!) and the extra cost LED headlights and fog lights. Now, I can see at night with clarity unknown on a Toyota truck I have owned before, and I’ve owned several past models. As far as I know now, Toyota is the only mid-sized truck that offers these lights for a very reasonable charge. They also smoothed the auto transmission shift points. The only downside from this initial ownership is a relatively cramped interior as compared to my other truck, a 2016 GMC Canyon diesel. Other Nits: The console has shrunk, the coin box disappeared and with a loaded TRD, Toyota should make a trailer brake standard for a 4X4 that has a tow package. Maybe next redesign they can tackle these issues and is it too much to add power to the passenger seat?

2020 Tacoma
Like the vehicle, my concern I do not feel safe driving my brand new truck. Engine has stalled twice and cut off while backing up in the road, dealership can not identify to fix, the truck shows a engine stall code. I should not have to worry when buying a new vehicle that it may cut off at any time.

The 4th one of exactly the same model
Each new model was better than the previous. I especially like the new safety features and electrical adjustable drivers seat. I like the advanced off road capabilities. Like crawl control and locking rear differential.

Best all around
I have always had full-size pickups, and have always driven them as both daily drivers and completely off road at our farm/ranch property. I no longer need the payload or towing capacity of a full size pickup, but do need (1) a pickup (2) reasonable payload and small trailer pulling capacity (3) a decent V6 (4) 4 doors (5) a good daily driver (6) reliability (7) real off road ability (8) Value for the money. I really don’t see anything that is better when you look at all these factors together. I’m very glad I bought this truck.

Bad to the bone
I like this truck a lot and I've put over 1800 miles on it already. The only down fall is the bed-liner leaks water even though I have a tri-fold cover on it and the hood shakes a little at 70 mph. Otherwise very solid drive, smooth drive, and great turning radius.
