Reliable, Lasting, Never had an issue

This truck is comfortable to ride in, & driving it is even better. To have found this truck on a tow yard amazes me. I am only selling because I want something a bit smaller. My first truck was a Ford, but I have grown to love Toyota so much that I’m actually buying a Tacoma next. The V8 is fun to drive, & even more so considering this one has an aftermarket Borla exhaust.

Reliable truck

I have driven Toyota trucks for decades, they are reliable. I test drove a 2005 Tundra double cab; the truck was smaller inside than I had thought it would be. The 2UZ-FE ENGINE Toyota made is known to be one of the most reliable engines ever. However prices for these trucks on the used car market are extremely inflated, the price will need adjusting to buy anything with confidence. The used dealer market is also corruptly active. If you find this truck with a hint of common sense pricing buy it. Also remember these trucks run best with OEM parts that cost money, so fixing is not a budget friendly venture.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY

I bought my Tundra New in 2005. It just died on me today (13 years old). Had just over 300,000 miles on it. Changed oil EVERY 5000 miles. The body was in good shape very little rust, and the engine looked brand new. The transmission however finally started to slip and eventually leaked. Other than wear and tear costs (ball joints, brakes and tires) this truck was a beast. If I find another one I won't hesitate to buy it.

Toyota reliability

Truck is 13 years old, has 270k miles and it just won't quit. Had bench seat refinished, brakes, tires and fluid changes. Always starts, never breaks, couldn't ask for anything more.
