I love my Tundra!

It has all the toughness of the truck. Yet it has all the comfort of a car. I have three large athletic sons who can fit into the backseat comfortably. We can make road trips for sure.

2019 Trd Sport Tundra

This truck does everything I need it to do. I have a 33 ft camper that I pull. The. Tundra handles the camper without issue. There is plenty of interior storage.

Tundra is old school and proud of it

There are three confirmed Tundras now with 1 million miles. 1 is a first gen the other two are 2nd gens. It won’t be long for the first third gen to 1 million miles. These tricks did this with basic maintenance and one transmission overhaul at 720,000 miles. This is proof-in-pudding of the fanatical nature of Toyota’s process. It’s the best selling point there ever was. Past this there are legions of people with tundras and 4 runners and camrys and Tacoma’s with 400k miles or more. Tundra and 4runner ( I own both) are old school. There is a minimum of tech to annoy you , distract you, or malfunction. These things just work. Please consider this rich history when selecting tour next vehicle. Want to minimize or eliminate the monthly trip to the dealer? Want to not have to look into lemon laws? Want to have confidence in a long road trip when the odometer reads 300,000 miles? Only one way to go...

Great Truck

Great truck. Slightly behind others in amenities, interior styling, and performance, but good value for money and great reliability record. Best built truck on the road, but not the most modern.

Great reliable truck from a friendly dealer.

I was in the market for a pick up truck and was intrested in the Toyota tundra. Toyota is known for their outstanding reliability and longevity. Westchester Toyota had a white 2019 Toyota tundra With custom rims and Fender flares. This was a platinum model so it had all the Bells and whistles. The sales person by the name of Max as well as his manager Sam were extremely friendly professional and patient. Together with their manager David Lee, we were able to put together a deal that was good for everyone. I am extremely happy with the vehicle as well as the attention to detail that was given. I would also like to mention Carmin who arranged financing and extended warranty. Great truck, great price and great service.

Great trucks

Expensive but great. It has a great resale or trade in value. It was a high for my pocket book. If the company I work for would give me a raise I would buy one.

Easy to own, solid and reliable

This is my second Tundra. My ‘012 was the most trouble free vehicle we’ve ever owned. 85K+ miles of towing a 6K pound travel trailer. Never missed a beat. We decided to get a new one to get some nice upgrades. We settled on a midnight metallic black 2019 double cab. Mechanically, it’s the same truck as my ‘012. 5.7 liter V-8, 381 hp, 4.31 rear end. Considering we never had an issue with the older Tundra, I’m fine with the same drivetrain. Total confidence. Upgrades wit the 2019 are backup camera, 7” touch screen, complete integration of my phone (music, contacts), nice ‘truck’ interior, and factory spray in bedliner. The hard tri-fold bed cover from my old Tundra fit on the new one (score!). This Tundra has both the SR5 (nicer interior, front bucket seats, console shifter, 38 gallon fuel tank) and the TRD Off-Road package (Bilstein shocks, sharp wheels, and nice deep-treaded Michelin tires). Standard is all the safety features such as lane departure alerts, cruise control radar (that’s pretty darn cool), and auto bright/dimming LED headlights. Fit and finish is excellent. The seams around the doors, hood, and tailgate are even. The body lines from the bed, through the doors, and onto the front panels line up perfectly. The bed is dead-center (my Dodge truck I had years ago the bed was crooked!). I really like the detail on this truck. The truck has an SAE tow rating of 9900 pounds. This creates a conservative rating, but that’s ok. I know it’s fine pulling my camper. I’m not interested in going to the limits in towing. Half tons are light duty, after all. Driving, the truck is smooth and quiet especially considering the TRD package. Steering wheel feels nice and tight, as well as the shifter and all the knobs and buttons. Love being able to play my music via Bluetooth from my phone. Fire it up, hit a few buttons, and I’m in my own little world. I’m anxious to tow my travel trailer with it this spring. Sticker price was just under $44K. After a little haggling, I got it to $40K. Not bad considering the options (I know I’ve not listed them all). My old truck got 50% of its original value on trade in. Comes with 2 years of Toyota care (free synthetic oil changes and tire rotations the first 25000 miles. I know the Tundra catches a lot of flack about having an older drive train (the 5.7 has been around since the 2007 mode year). But I’ve had some real troublesome vehicles over the years until I finally went with my first Tundra. Reliability, low maintenance, and practicality factor a lot. It needs to do what I need, when I need it to, regardless of the circumstances. The Tundra does that and then some. I’m not sure if I’d like Toyota to change any of that.
