Best Working Truck Out There

I run an archaeological company. Every day I have to put 6 people in a crew pickup and beat the xxxx out of it in rough terrain. The off road driving on websites? We actually do that as part of our job. This is my 4th Tundra; we still work daily our 2002 access cab. We get a minimum of 15 years of service out of these trucks and not ONCE have we had a problem. Just regular maintenance, which we are vigilant about. There is no substitute for a classic V8 when you are 7 miles into the woods. Yes, it eats gas, but that's nothing compared to reliability and an extremely low maintenance cost. Does it have fancy stuff for suburbanites? Nope, but this truck has to work for a living and performance, reliability, safety and comfort are most important. We abandoned the Detroit trucks years ago because they were unreliable.

If ur going to keep it buy a tundra

Once most trucks get paid for they are junk and need thousands in repairs. The Dodge Ram I had struts at 60k bearings at 70k alternators and finally the engine at 100k. The ford 150 had everything wrong with it the day it was new. My tundra, 25k no problems no issue all quality. On the SR5 it comes with cheap tires and they went out at 10k cause of the country roads I live on. Other then the tires, best truck and will never get anything else.

Best truck I’ve ever owned

I have had dozens of cars and trucks over the years. I have owned many pickup trucks including several Toyota Tacoma‘s and a couple of RAM pick ups also. I know that the 2020 Toyota Tundra has a lot of older engineering and technology underneath but it is a bulletproof truck. I have never had any problems with any of the Toyota Tundra’s that I’ve owned. My 2018 and 2019 RAM 1500 pickup trucks had all kinds of problems and recalls. No thanks. Toyota Tundra and not looking back.

Just purchased so to new to know

Power is good for the V8 5.7L engine. Very roomy for back seats in the CrewMax configuration. The ride is very nice and very quiet for a truck. Style is good. We bought the color called "Cement" which is a gray color. It will look good with the camping trailer will will be buying.

So far this truck is amazing

The Tundra Predator Edition is amazing the features are unbelievable. If the vehicle last as long as my Nissan Frontier I will definitely be a Toyota fan from now.

Reliable, fits our current needs

Fits our current needs in the mountain where we live. Reliable, comfortable and dependable. Needs to purchase running boards for easier getting in and out of the vehicle.
