Drives very well.
Great in the snow. Big enough to fit my kids and their friends without feeling too big. Drives amazing. Love the way it looks. Feels way more expensive then it really is. Great car great price.

Luxury without the price tag
I'm obsessed with this car!!! Stunning, comfortable, functional and efficient!! I struggled with staying with the Highlander or trying the Atlas, and I don't regret my decision AT ALL!!!

Not the car I wanted. Way better!
I had a Passat TDI that I adored. But it couldn’t tow my boat or get through bigger snows. I wanted a Ford Explorer. The local Ford dealership always acts like it’s weird to sell cars to women and offered a terrible trade in on my sweet ride. I went to VW and got a much better deal on a car I wouldn’t have even thought I could afford. Every time I drive it I like it better and better. It handles well, rides like a dream, has more options than I expected and has enormous interior space! And it practically plows snow!!

Fahrvergnügen SUV for America
After nearly a year of research and review, we finally decided we couldn’t find a reason not to purchase this beautiful, superior SUV! It’s the third row suv done right. Beautifuly handsome styling, intelligent and fun driving dynamics, package tiers to meet all needs, great gas mileage in the 2.0T and FWD V6, HUGE bumper to bumper warranty... I highly recommend making the Atlas your SUV of choice.

The Best Mid Size SUV
We test drove a majority of the Mid Size SUV to include the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Chevy Traverse and Equinox, GMC Acadia, and Audi Q7 and we liked the Atlas the best in terms of comfort, performance, interior design, appearance, and value. It had the most space which was a priority for our family of five. The 3rd row is actually functional which was a major selling point! The other vehicles tested were all very good but fell short of the Atlas in one or more areas. The final selling point was the 6 year 72000 mile bumper to bumper warranty!

Great SUV, highly recommended
This SUV has it all in spades. It has the exterior truck-ness with all the refined interior SUV-ness. Couldn't be happier with this SUV, better than the Highlander, Traverse, Pilot, and Q7 for the money and the space inside is insane!!! If you drive the Atlas and don't love the size and driving style you are crazy. Yes, the mpg is not fantastic, but it runs on 87 octane not 91 or 93 like some others and it is still not terrible, but it is not going to compete with a hybrid so don't complain...it is what it is, a huge people/kids hauler with room for the dogs, stroller, sports equipment, and suitcases. I love the interior trim, it is not overstated and super functional! Love this SUV and would buy again and recommend it to anyone.

Awesome family friendly vehicle.
Exceeded my expectations. Lots of leg room for our tall family members and storage space for strollers, luggage, etc. Love the car seat tilt seats and how we don’t have to remove the 2nd row car seats to get to the third row! So many awesome features! Highly recommend it!

VW Hits it out of the park with the Atlas!!!
The Volkswagen Atlas is a compelling family vehicle with real-world comfort and capacity for seven passengers plus cargo. The Atlas is effortless to drive and is very refined in terms of vehicle dynamics. The VR6 engine has a proven track record and the Aisin AW 8-speed transmission, the same unit used in Toyota products among others, has also proven reliable in its various applications. Add a 6-year/72,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty plus a top notch 5-star safety rating and the VW Atlas becomes the most logical choice compared to the competition; especially when you must have space for seven grown passengers and their cargo.
