Great family vehicle

I researched three row SUV's for my family for at least 8 months. After narrowing it down to 2, I choose the VW Atlas. It is so incredibly roomy inside! It has a true third row. My 3 dogs and 2 kids, plus friends fit very comfortably. The technology is great and easy to learn and use. I got a great deal and haven't looked back!! Definitely the most comfortable third row SUV out there right now.

Exactly what I wanted!

I got the car of my dreams! This car drives so nicely with the v6 and it looks amazing with the leather seats. Leesburg Volkswagen will always be the place I go for vehicle purchases! It was fast and easy. Aisha and jason where amazing. My parents even went and bought the same car after seeing how amazing mine was!

Nicest car and most luxurious that I have owned.

The car meets my needs for both size and comfort. I have plenty of head room and leg room for being rather tall at 6’-5”

Extremely quiet ride and great headlights.

Taking time to learn all the various button combinations. Do not like the ridge on the drivers and passenger seats getting in an out. Drivers side is missing an overhead handle to assist getting in and out. Engine is a bit sluggish at low speeds even in sport mode, needs automatic rear seat up and down. Needs larger and better lighted driver display. Who needs RPM's...get rid of that and make room for more important stuff. Needs larger clock display

2019 Atlas 2.0T

I’ve officially owned this car for 6 months. I love it. Biggest pros are: Comfortable Roomy Stylish Great gas mileage with 2.0T engine (I get 26 combined ) SO MUCH TRUNK SPACE with 3rd row down. The only con I have is the slow acceleration, but it CAN accelerate fast, but I try not to take off to keep my gas mileage up! No regrets. I haven’t had any problems. I’m at 10,100 miles.

Worst Car I've ever owned- read the reviews 1st!

we OWNED our 2019 Atlas SE w/Tech 4 motion v6 rline for 13 months and 35k miles. This was by far the worst auto purchase of my adult life. We purchased this over the explorer because of the 72k warranty( now 50k on 2020 models) and it is a shame we have to use it so frequently. Pros: Ride quality. it ride very smooth, good visibility, good interior layout and third row is spacious. Cons: Terrible quality and I question the longevity of this auto. We have had ours in the shop 7x in the for 12 months for the following: 1: replace both front sway bar links in suspension- before 20k miles! 2: replace rear climate control screen 3: replace seat belt buckle in middle row 4: replace push button start due to inconsistent starting 5: torque converter makes terrible loud grinding noise in low gears. VW acknowledges its, has no idea what it is , has other complaints, but deflects it as "normal" 6: My atlas has been in the shop 3x for coolant issues. either the warning light is on or I can smell coolant when the car is on. No remedy yet so they tell me its " normal" The dealer ended up tearing the entire engine apart and replaced every seal and the head gasket. We had warped cylinder heads and and oil leak around the filter due to coolant leaking into the cylinder heads. They also replaced the transfer case and thermostat that was seized inside the engine. This would have been over $12k out of pocket with no warranty! Pretty large and ridiculous repair for an issue I was told didn’t exist for 2 months. The Service Manger mentioned he has another atlas in for the same reason and has recommended to VW Corp to look into this because he believes it is an true design issue. VW was a joke to deal with and couldnt have cared less we were sold a lemon. complete run around in all regards. Read the reviews and forums before purchasing this. The resale is also horrendous. Much faster depreciation than a typical new car.
