Fun, fun, fun!

Huge bang for the buck!!! A blast to drive, all options and safety features, huge trunk, 30+ highway, and great German soul! The Fender audio is solid and the driver is always in touch with the car and road.

Best Overall car I owened.

I like the uniqueness of the body style, reliability, and comfort. Very well built vehicle and unassuming power. Volkswagen is one of the better brands out right now.

Warning lights galore

I purchased New in 2017, only have 7000 million on it over a year later. It was decelerating when making left turns, very scary, brought back to dealer they reset to factory defaults ( whatever that means. Tire pressure light comes on at least every other week, and now check engine light is on and once again have to back to dealer. The air condition is cool not cold, and in Arizona that is definitely a drawback. I have a 16 year old Chevy truck with 170,000 miles with less issues. It scares me to see all these warning lights poop in up, especially when it had such low mileage.

Good car for the money

For a 1.4 liter turbo it does fairly well. I don't like the turbo lag though...don't pull out in front of anyone. Good gas mileage, great for long trips. Not the most comfortable seats but they work considering its a base model.

1st Car Purchase

This car met all my needs - the apple car play is a huge perk and has all the features I was looking for in a lightly used car.

Fun to drive.

Got this Jetta for leg room. Comparing to other compact cars this has most leg room I believe. Also got year end discount which was the main reason I got my Jetta. Getting very good gas mileage. At 55-60 mph defensive driving can give you close to 65 mpg at no stop traffic. Where I live 50% city 50% highway gives me 34 mpg average. Of course it all depends on driving habits. I have the base model with basic features which is good enough for me. The best thing about German cars is no matter how small they are they always feel strong and fun to drive. In the past I appreciated the long term reliability of Japanese cars. They were just lacking the fun drive aspect.

Comfort, Style, Efficiency Combine for Great Value

This vehicle, for having a small engine is sufficiently zippy once the turbo kicks in. However, it was purchased for its efficiency, reliability, and comfort, of which needs it more than met. Fortunately it added great features such as a moonroof, enjoyable sound system, and leatherette seats. Also added were decent aesthetics-both interior and exterior with great safety features.
