2009 Volkswagen Tiguan consumer reviews

I work for VW and I am amazed by this vehicle! I think features are unique and Tiguan SEL fully loaded got better value than BMW X3.Handling and performance are incredible.EPA mileage says somthing in the reality I would expect from Tiguan 18/19 mpg in the city and 28/30 on the highway.I wish it would be less expensive!!!!!!!!!!!

I just purchased the Tiguan and love it! The Tiguan handles expertly with a smooth and quiet drive. The turbo engine is great-it is very powerful and fast when you need it to be. The interior design is comfortable and sleek. The instruments are logically laid out and easy to read. The visibility is very good (not as good as the forester's). The position of the seat is great for shorter drivers. Some aspects that could be improved: The seats are not as easy to fold down as the others. The driver panel lights don't turn off automatically in the SE. I test drove the CR-V, RAV-4 and 2009 Forester and none of these vehichles compare to the richness in the quality of the vehicle nor in the performance of the car. Although you pay about 3-4K more than other cars in the class...the money spent is well worth it! This is the best car I have owned (previous vehicles: Subaru Forester(s), Saab 900-s).
