Great in the snow and reliable

Been a great car and have put 140k on it so far in MN. Lots of miles left going to keep it to 200k. Buy one!

Just bought it preowned.

Just what I was looking for, so far I like it very much! It handles great and I am pleased with the gas milage. MUCH nicer than the Toyota 4Runner it replaces!

Great car even with Diesel Cheat

Great fuel economy, ride, power, torque in diesel trim, towing power, capacity for hauling, REAL LEATHER TRIM, PANORAMIC POWER ROOF, SPACIOUS SEATING, long range in diesel trim ( Denver to Phoenix), climbs mountains, plows through snow, stable on ice. I want it back, VW!

Most reliable car I every owned

This car is very suitable to drive in Iowa Winter. It has all wheel drive and can adapt all kinds of terrain. The seat can be warmed up so you won't feel cold in Winter. It has Bluetooth so you can play your music in your car. You can also subscribe SiriusXM is you like so you can hear all kinds of radios. The backup camera can grantee you park comfortably. The sunroof is very large. It will give you a good view when you look outside. This price is much lower than all kind of car sold online. I have repaired and updated all interior and mechanic parts of this car recently so you can drive it safe and sound.

Volkswagon Touareg from an owners perspective.

The Volkswagon Touareg provides a great combination of the sport and luxury feel into one. The seats are very comfortable but don't quite hold you like a sports car. The car is equipped with great, easy to use features including navigation and Bluetooth. The Touareg has great maneuverability along with great visibility allowing the driving to navigate the roads with confidence. The backseats have decent leg room along with good head room and will comfortably fit two. With three backseat passengers, the back can be a little snug with a lack of leg room and arm room for the middle passenger. The trunk has a sufficient amount of space able to contain what the driver needs. A good example would be that it can fit multiple bags of golf clubs. The driving experience is very tight and sporty. The Touareg provides the driver with both comfort and a sporty feel, allowing for a combination of usability and fun for the driver. In the end, the Volkswagon Touareg is a great vehicle providing the driver with all their everyday needs and a dose of fun.

Was awesome till the the TDI issues

This was a great truck and inspired a lot of confidence on the road. but after the dieselgate issues I just had to get rid of it, the uncertainty of the emission changes and milage changes were too much.

Best SUV that I have ever owned

I have a 2012 Diesel Touareg that I love. It is easily the best automobile that I have ever owned. It is a shame that it is being recalled. I will see if I can purchase a 2016 model. Runs great. Never left me stranded. Gets great fuel mileage for a large vehicle.

Great car!

The car is all tech. This takes some getting use to. The speed is deceptive and creep up on you. Runs sooo smooth. We like it. Price was $680 over retail, but that included new tires, wheel alignment and fresh oil & filter change. Houston, Tx . Where I picked it up, then drove 2600 miles to our home. Check out fine from this "road" trip. Dealer was Momentum. Great working with them.

2012 VW Touarreg SPORT/W NAV

Man, one of the worst vehicle I drove in my life. I bought this vehicle in 2014, May with authorized/certified dealer(18k Miles). It was okay for only 2k and all there problems were started. Problem 1: The battery has totally drained out and stopped in front of the Bank. It took long time to figure out the issue because most of the lights were on and vehicle was not starting and I could not take key out. Seriously, I so embraced to standing out side the bank with 2 kids for 2 hours. Then I took it to the dealer and replaced the battery. Problem 2: Coolant check indicator light was on, I checked with dealer and they said that it? normal. The engine got overheat and stopped in front of my friend?s house. This time very big issue, they changed the water pump and so many things and they did not update everything in the report. All most 5 days with dealer. Problem3: Tire pressure lights on even with correct psi. It?s really annoying. Please do not buy this vehicle and it?s not reliable and not worth for the money. I am planning to sell this SUV and looking for trade in option. It seems I have to take big loss on this vehicle. VW cars may be good but SUV sucks the people blood and money. Please my kind advice, think before you buy VW SUVs.

Buyer beware

I own a 2012 VW Touareg TDI Lux and when I bought it Certified Used, I noticed steering wheel vibrations at and above 60 mph and the vehicle pulls to the right. Note that there are tons of VW Touaregs out there with this issue, and the VW does not do anything to address this. Make sure you do a search on the issue described above and you will see how many people have the same issue. I am deeply disappointed and VW has lost a customer forever.
