People actually stop me to ask about it...

11/01/2017, we took delivery of a 2017 S90 T6 Inscription, fully loaded with the exception of the rear air suspension. We decided on a 2017 for the shorter wheelbase as opposed to the 2018. The panoramic sunroof in the 2018 is the only notable difference between the two model years, as the rear legroom is still substantial in the 2017. We found our "perfect" car sitting as a dealer demo in Arizona, Mossel blue with the blonde interior, 20 inch wheels, split exhaust...yadda yadda. I don't know why it wasn't snapped up over the year it sat on the lot, but we were thrilled to get it with 2300 demo miles and still offered under the terms of a "new" car. I'll just respond to a few of the points made in other reviews... Yes, with the 20 inch wheels, you get a little feedback from the road. Yes, you'll get a little resonance when you ride over a rough spot. Yes, upon start up the Sensus system takes a few seconds to come to life. Call those negatives if you want, but the positives outweigh those by such a degree... Nappa leather, seat design, open pore wood, leather dashboard, beautiful stitching and detail, detail, detail...stunningly beautiful place to be. The Sensus system takes a minute to get used to, but it works just like an iPad and if you use Apple products, the Apple Car Play works beautifully. I like the "head up display" more than I thought I would...it's actually very handy, showing your speed and the posted speed limits. The supercharged/turbocharged 4 in the T6 offers PLENTY of power and the all wheel drive keeps a firm grip. The engine "roar" from a 4 cylinder is anemic, but the power is there, and so is the fuel economy. And now for the most exciting part...for me, anyway. The absolutely awesome Bowers & Wilkins sound system. I don't know if I'm going to properly emote my feelings toward this set up, but I'll try. First, it's beautiful. The yellow Kevlar midranges in the doors behind sculpted metal meshes, the cabin facing center tweeter on the dash, knowing (and feeling) that the subwoofer is mounted to the FRAME of car gives you the confidence to crank it up to the point your soul nearly leaves your body. The system sound is fully customizable. Equalizer, balance, tone, even the amount of reverb. At the risk of humiliating myself, I'll share anyway that just the other day sat in my car and listened to my favorite symphony...Wagner's Symphony in C Major. A tear was brought forth...it's that amazing of a sound system...worth EVERY penny if you love music. In any event...the car is an exceptional value, and enjoyable enough to drive for most of us. You're considering Volvo's flagship, don't skimp on the options...go big or go home!

The most beautiful, comfortable car I have ever ow

I have owned several Volvos, including S60, XC60 and C30. The S90 has a luxury feel in every way, including appointments, quality and roominess. Its performance is amazing. Great acceleration, breaking and cornering. The features are too numerous to mention.

Most technologically advanced car I?ve ever owned

My 2017 Volvo?s S90 T6 AWD Momentum Plus is the most technologically advanced vehicle I?ve ever owned. The styling of the front of the car is very aesthetically pleasing. It looks bold, stately, and highly refined. The tail end of the vehicle leaves a lot to be desired in the aesthetics category. The rear decklid spoiler helps a lot and should be a standard feature. My favorite part of this car is the technology. Everything from pilot assist, which is a very well-functioning dynamic radar cruise control system paired with lane centering and lane keeping assist to self-parallel and perpindicular parking to automatic high beams, this car is a tech junkie?s playground. Some drawbacks on this car are the level of road noise in the cabin, particularly from the rear seats (it?s pretty bad back there). The car?s 360? camera system is also next to useless as a result of the camera placement for the rear view camera. The stitching of the cameras is also subpar. The car also has some glitches, lagging, occasional non-responsive buttons that can be very annoying. So far I?ve had it three months and it spend one entire month in the shop just getting software updates. I? finally got the car back and it?s still exhibiting issues. Just this weekend the automatic closing trunk would not shut. I? had to manually force it closed against the resistance of the trunk motor. Overall I?d give this car a ?lease it? rating. I?. There are a lot of quirks that must be worked out before this car is a true rival of a Mercedes E-Class or a BMW 5-Series.

Classic Lines of this Volvo

This is one of the most comfortable and stylish Volvos on the road today. I never would have thought I would even test drive a Volvo let alone own one, but here I am? the owner of an S 90 Mussel Blue Volvo. I would recommend this peppy four-cylinder to anyone who appreciates style and the classic lines of this Volvo.

Love the Volvo

I have driven the 2017 and 2018 S-90 and find them both to be incredible vehicles in terms of style, comfort and safety . sb I am leaning more toward the 2017 because it is slightly shorter ( for garage purposes ) and also has slightly higher profile tires vs. the 2018 All in all , I really love the new interior design and seat comfort.
