Very solid car; smooth running, comfortable

This is a well-designed and solidly built car. It is just what we needed for road trips, recreation exploration and zipping around town. Plenty of room for the size we were looking for. The front console is a little busy, but this is our first Volvo so we just need to adapt to the new layout.

One of the nicest cars I've owned.

Got tired of big SUV's. So a crossover felt perfect. Test drove many cars and the V60 Cross Country fit the bill for me. So far perfect.

It needs some work to be perfect.

I’m going to dis this car so bad! I’ve had it a year and I’ve put 40000 miles on her so far! Here we go! 1. The gps and actually the whole interface is horrible! I bought the Sirius Xm and the radio plays but no weather data! GPS is just awful!!! Takes 20 mins to put in where you want to go and you better know the exact address, we’ll it might be in there! Sound quality is amazing! Voice command useless! Volvo needs to update and just put a google phone or iPhone in the whole (because it be bigger) and much easier to navigate! 2. The on call is ridiculously outrageously expensive! I was told I had automatic door locks, auto start, auto lock exe exe exe and it does! But to use it I have to pay over $350 every two years to use it all as an app on my phone! There’s no other way to use it! You get blackmailed! Now, the only up side! Using my Apple Watch with the app I can start my car from just about anywhere on the planet, find my car, see how much gas I have and how long of a trip I can take with the amount of gas in the tank! People flip out I can do that from my watch! Still not worth $350, but still really cool! 3. Volvo service is horrible! I’ve had this car in for the first three (free)scheduled oil changes and some minor repairs. Each time I take it in I get so frustrated. First it was I wanted heliumin the tires. The guy charged me for a tire rotation because Volvo doesn’t have a place for just helium replacement of air. What I got was tired rotation! No helium! When they found out what had happened I was smacked on the xxx and told move along! I went to a different dealership. First time there they dig my car with the door of another one! Told to move along! I like the guy I talked to and figure it wasn’t him it was the mechanicso I came back and I had a small leak in one tire, they patched it... and the airgun slammed my rim causing a huge gouge. I was made to pay for the $40 patch. Are you kidding me? A tire it $110 and are 60000 mile tires! I had 30000 on it I’d been better off with a new tire! So I went to another dealer which charged me 120 to do an oil change and I get the car back and it’s not washed or cleaned up or windows wiped down, I was told he called out! But no discount! These three crappy dealers were in Frederick md, Hagerstown Md and Winchester va! That’s it! Other than that I love this car to death! It drives amazing! Looks amazing and I get treated like a god when I pull in anywhere! Hope that helps you buy one! I would!!

Most significant car I have owned.

Very well designed and built. Exceptionally comfortable. considering that this is the top of the line model the only two complaints would be the less than ample leg room space in for the back seat passengers and the the lack of a power assisted lift gate. Tow features that have little impact on me personally but to impact my passengers.

AWD, great looks and car handling with SUV utility

Have always liked Volvo and consider it a premium car instead of a luxury vehicle. It's proven to be a solid ride with great performance and the best seats in the business. I was torn between the xc60 and the V60xc but went with the V60XC because of its more carlike handling. On the downside is that it's road noise is a little higher and it's infotainment system is antiquated. Both these issues have been fixed in the 2019 version from what I've read so I will likely buy a year old 2019 model next year..

Love it!

Exactly what I was looking for! Ticked all the boxes for me and my needs. Looks great, drives great, all options I was looking for. Anyone looking for a solid "crossover" this is surely worth a look. Chose this over Subaru and Mazda offerings.

A GREAT automobile

I am a faithful Vovlo driver. My last car was an xc70. All the so-called SUVs now look like they are on steroids. This Crosscountry has LOTS of room and handles like a sports car!
