20 years old and still on the road

Bought my 2004 xc70 in May 2003, has 114000 miles the best car I ever bought, the seats are so comfortable I wish had them in my family room, the only trouble I have with it was the all wheel drive module went out @80000 miles, which I got replaced with one from a salvage yard.

322,000+

I’d bought my 2004 xc70 with about 122,000 miles on it. It was well cared for and every service was done by Volvo. I drove that car everywhere, I taught my two kids to drive in it and my son used it (very hard) for about 6mounths. When I got it back from him it had about 305,000 miles on it. I sold it to him about a year later cause he loved the car. It had 322,000 on it then. It’s still running! I just bought a 2006 with 180,000 and it runs great! Love these cars and will likely own this one til I die!

My first volvo and I wish I had bought one sooner.

This was my first volvo and I bought it used at 240,000kms. It was moderately well cared for when I bought it, but I did some catch up maintance like tires and control arm bushings and the flame trap/pcv system to ensure it would continue running great. 3 years and 100,000kms later and it's my favorite car I have ever owned. Its very smooth on the highway with great power and fuel economy. It also can haul a ton of stuff. What's not to like? It's really great bang for your buck for everything you get with these cars.

My first owned car and it was love at first sight.

....and I still love it. This vehicle has an old school feel with a modern day performance and it really fits my style and what I want out of a car. Mine is turbo equipt, and that jolt of acceleration never gets old. These vehicles used are usually always in great condition because the owners take care of them with pride and I will do the same. I tricked mine out a bit to give it more personality but right off the lot it was at 219K miles in almost excellent condition. Oil changes are key...keep the general maintenance updated and these machines can last a lifetime. Maybe longer.

Fun in the snow and safe on the road

This car is great on the freeway and in the snow, it is the safest and most reliable car I've owned. We let our kids take it to college because it was safe and reliable.

Quality, Comfort, Long Term Owner

For a car 15 years old it drives and runs extremely well. We have invested in maintenance over the years with the intent it would be a long term car and it has proven worth it. Great car for all conditions, Legendary Volvo safety and comfort.

Sweet little Wagon, I like the style.

I purchased it at an auction in Tampa, Tampa Machinery Auction every second Saturday every month. So far it’s a cool car have issues with rear, rear right passenger doors not opening . As I drove it home I hit 80mph on the interstate and no shaking or hesitation as of 3/10/19 ok so far

Not bad

I love the comfort the ride starts good in 10 below. Handles nice. Many nice features. Rust free. I had to put ball joint tie rod and cv joint in it but that was because of neglect from previous owner. I was told by my mechanic the cv joint is the original one. And at 213,000 miles and 14 yrs old that is pretty amazing. Even with the age and milage this car goes down the road smooth as glass and the cruise control ,audii, lights and all features wrk perfectly. The windows have a flaw where the window clips break causing window to tip foward .making it basically inoperable until fixed. But the clips are only $15 and easy to install. The hardest part is getting the inside door panel off and back on correctly
