My cousin from Iowa had to return a car that he'd leased. He needed to buy a car so that he could get home and have a vehicle for use there. For two days, Saturday and Sunday, we went to dealerships everywhere near Cleveland. South, East, West, and Akron. I wore my work coveralls because i wanted to get under the vehicles and the hood to inspect them. We'd walk in and no one would even say hello or move to help us. For those that did speak, I can only say how it felt. Some assumed we weren't serious customers or that we couldn't afford to buy the cars at which we were looking. Others were fine until we suggested test driving the vehicles and they were visibly uncomfortable. Some were just so very dishonest, I wish there were a way to report them. They are looking to exploit persons who are ignorant to the way buying a vehicle should proceed. It's embarrassingly ridiculous. Our intelligence was insulted so many times I literally lost count. I hated this process. I just couldn't abandon my cousin because he'd never bought a car from a dealership. They tried to take advantage of him over and over. I just sat quietly and listened until I couldn't take any more then I'd either just get up and leave, or I'd motion to him for us to go. The experience was very discouraging as each new dealership bore what seemed to be prejudice, dishonesty, and possibly profiling. Sunday, we decided to try a place that had a nice car posted online. Crown Acura. We went to other places he had found online first, but the poor experiences continued. At Crown Acura, we were dreading going through the whole motion all over again, when someone pleasantly greeted us. Matthew Dodok. We remained skeptical, waiting to see what his pitch would be. He just very simply talked to us about what we were looking for in a vehicle. No sales pitches. Just talking with us. Just treating us like normal customers. No special treatment. No disrespectful treatment either. It is sad that I must include this, but, he did nothing to insult us or rob us of our dignity. That's what was special. We felt respected like any other customer. Given a fair shot to examine and purchase a vehicle. We had a few other stops to make before making a decision. All but one were more of the same. The one dealership just had very high prices. We agreed that the only option to return to from the whole weekend's search would be Crown Acura. I told my cousin that he'd only want to form a business relationship with a dealership he felt he could at least get a straight answer and a chance at fairness. We went back to Crown, unsure of how things would go now that we'd want to test drive. He first offered to ride with us. I was thinking, here it comes. So I asked if we could test drive alone. He had us fill out some papers, even suggested a helpful route and politely left us to inspect the car. We were shocked. We checked the car from top to bottom. My cousin loved it. I was actually impressed with the car myself. I would now consider getting my wife one like it. We then told Matt we'd like to discuss a purchase. I trusted Matt enough by this point that I let him talk with my cousin alone for a while. When I came to check, I found he hadn't been getting pressured, insulted or hustled. That convinced me that we were in the right place. Matt patiently worked with him late into Sunday. In the end, my cousin drove his car home to Iowa. He and his wife love it. My only regret is that I wish we'd come to Crown Acura the day before. I went back to Crown one day after work to find Matt. To let him know I appreciated being treated like a man. My wife and I will very soon be in the market for a new vehicle. I told him that we will come to him for assistance. I'm not sure how this review process works but can someone please acknowledge Matt Dodok and dealers like him. Please. Thank you for your time.
Matthew is such a great person to work with. I did not end up purchasing due to personal reasons, but I loved the work that Matthew put into helping me. He's sweet, genuinely interested in finding the vehicle that suits your needs, and he's a friend! He goes above and beyond for the dealership, and Crown Acura is lucky to have him!
I initially came for a second oil change on my 2015 GMC 2WE Yukon SLE custom with 22 inch black rims, aftermarket leather, Denali grill and a few other perks that I purchased from Schumacher Chevrolet/GMC/Buick in Northlake in West Palm Beach Florida, June 14,2015. Though I really liked that SUV I really wanted to get back into a 4WD even if it meant getting a used Tahoe or Yukon or a new or used crew cab Silverado. Previous folks I talked to via phone in West Palm Beach, Schumacher Chevrolet in Clifton, N.J. and Maquire GMC in Little Falls New Jersey all said I was too upside down and that it could not be done without perhaps 20k or more out of pocket. I was referred to Tanya. She very confidently assured me that she can get it done and that they have something that I might be interested in. Of course I was skeptical thinking she was going to waste hours of time with some sales pitch. She came through with the help of Mike and Terry Long with a deal. Though I did not want to put no more than 3k down, I put 5k down and got the payments the same as my Yukon and into anew 2016 Silverado 1500 LT A71 4x4 pick up truck. Though I will miss those 22" black rims I am so glad to be back into a 4WD especially living and working back and forth between N.J. and Chantilly, VA. I was teased by that Silverado LTZ Z71 with the black rims in the show room and may later switch to 20-22 inch wheels with black rims, but for now I am very excited with my first pick up truck. Timing was just right for that rebate and I was about ready for a pick up truck only with crew cab. Had already had a 1999 MB 320, a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, a 2004 Chevy Tahoe LS, (purchased at the now closed Lynne Chevrolet in Kearny ,N.J.), a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ purchased from Pohanka February 2008 and a MB GL 450 2011 purchased from MB Chantilly, and then that custom Yukon, so now it was time for a luxury like pick up truck.. Kudos to Tanya, Terry and Mike. See you in a few weeks for the spray liner and pick up bed cover?? A. Wayne Williams, M.D.

Wes Kammer (Sales General Manager) and Tom Phan (Senior Sales Advisor) at Vandergriff Acura are very professional advisors with excellent customer service skills and knowledge about their cars and financial opportunities to lease or buy with the customer's best interest in mind. They both listened patiently to my needs and offered me an excellent lease opportunity and a fair trade-in value for my previously financed RDX. Wes and Tom were always welcoming, patient, and not pushy giving me several days to make up my mind about several financial scenarios I could afford given my other financial obligations. Wes and Tom were very truthful and worked with me to get a fair and aggressive offer, and didn't hide anything from me, as I independently corroborated with my personal web research. I visited Goodson and David McDavid Acura, just because they worked with Costco, but Vandergriff Acura was better in every respect. Wes and Tom, are consummate sales professionals who follow up without being pushy and had my best interest in mind as they explained to me the pros and cons of buying vs leasing thoroughly, and answered every question I had. They both are truly good advisors, rather than salesmen, and are perfectly OK not getting my business if they know it wouldn't benefit me personally. That is true honesty and I appreciated it. As advisors they have consistently provided me with the best car sales experience because they are friendly (smile) even when others would get impatient with my questions; they follow up; and they are always truthful, hiding nothing from me. Tom accompanied me to a test drive, and explained every feature of the new RDX 2019 thoroughly, as well as helped me set up my data after the deal. In the past I always had taken my Acura cars to be serviced at Vandergriff, because they have knowledgeable professionals, aggressive prices and excellent customer service. I amply recommend Vandergriff Acura for all your Acura needs. They will take good care of you. Truly, Edward Alvarez RDX 2019 leasing (Nov 2018) and trade-in of financed RDX 2017
Jibre and Brian were very professional and knowledgeable, and made the process of purchasing a vehicle very easy. Thank you for your service & promptness; it was greatly appreciated 😁

What a remarkable experience! My wife and I set up an appointment with Stanley Bennett to see a Honda Pilot. After realizing the particular Pilot was not exactly what we are looking for, We wandered over to the Acura TLX's. To our surprise we came across a Certified 2015 Acura TXL; low mileage and in pristine condition. My wife's reaction was, "Honey, this is a GREAT deal." Negotiating with Stan was a breath of fresh air, truly an honorable and trustworthy man who looked out for us through the negotiations. He took the time to explain all of the technology features with care and patience and made sure we were both 100% satisfied customers long after the sale was made... We would like to thank Pre-Owned Director Brandon Guzman for helping us get a great deal, and we would also like to thank General Manager John Ellis for creating an atmosphere of trust and good will at Vandergriff Acura. Thanks Stan, Brandon, and John for helping us get a great deal on a superb Acura TLX. The best part is that Stan is helping find the Honda Pilot Touring we are looking for! Sincerely, Steve and Tammy.

It's me again. These nice people contacted me to see what they could do better because I gave them one star ratings. OOps, I thought I was giving them a 5 star rating. It was truly a 5+ star experience.
BEING IN THE SAME BUSSINESS A VERY LONG TIME AGO I HAD A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE. MY FIRST STOP WAS AT "CASE ACURA". I WAS GREETED BY ALBERTO IN A VERY RELAXED AND COMFORTABLE SETTING. AFTER ACCOMMODATING MY REQUEST FOR A TEST DRIVE, ALBERTO EXPLAINED IN GREAT DETAIL THE BENEFITS OF THE RLX. UPON ALBERTO'S COMPLETION I WAS SPOKEN TOO BY YOUR 'T.O.' MAN. HE WAS ALSO VERY NICE. BUT UNDERSTANDING THE BUSS. I WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD AND TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO TEST DRIVE OTHER CARS AND GET OTHER QUOTES. MY EQUIS WAS TOTALED 7 WEEKS AGO. (YOUR HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP WAS A WHOLE DIFFERANT STORY). D.U.I. FELONY . DROVE GENNISESS, CHRYSLER'S, IMPALAS, BUT SETTELED ON A RLX. THEN I PROCEEDED TO GET OTHER PRICES'S. 3 TO BE EXACT. 1 WAS ALOT LOWER THAN YOUR T.O. MAN GAVE ME. BUT I AGAIN KNOW THE BUSSINESS. SO AFTER BEING TREATED SO RESPECTFUL AND GENERALLY HONEST I DECIDED TO GIVE ALBERTO AND THE RICK CASE FAMILY THE CHANCE TO MATCH THE PRICE $$$$$$. OF COURSE THEY DID! UPON THE COMPLETION OF THE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE I WAS JUST AS IMPRESSED AS HOW I WAS TREATED. ANSWERING ALL MY STUPID QUESTION'S. ALBERTO TOOK HIS TIME AND SHOWED GREAT PATIENCE. BEING TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE, I REALY APPRECIATE ALBERTO'S KNOWLEGE AND GIFT OF EXPLANATION.
Gabe worked with me and made the process very easy and I liked working with him. I would gladly buy a car from him again. I was non-plussed during the paper work signing process. I sort of expected that with a 24 hour lead time that the stack of papers would be ready to go...but it seemed that nothing was done in advance. Once I established that I did not want to be up-sold, the process went much faster although it still took a full hour and I missed an appointment as a result...you could do better. One tire was low enough to trigger the tire pressure light - so some technical serviced one tire. So the tires show the following pressures 35, 31, 31, 29. Thanks for nothing. I don't like to drive with tires like that. At least the service light was extinguished. And by the way, teach somebody at Toyota HQ something about Chemistry. If you mount a tire on a rim the tire is already about 98% of its final diameter and it is full of air -- you know, 20% oxygen and 59% nitrogen. Now inflate the tire to final pressure with nitrogen and the ratio is perhaps 18 % oxygen and 61 % nitrogen. So how can Toyota charge $99 for a tiny amount of nitrogen and say the tire is inflated with nitrogen. Unless of course I missed my guess and someone purged the tire in a 100% nitrogen environment and perhaps it is really filled with 100% nitrogen? I doubt it. I see no value here.
Greg Lippe was outstanding in his knowledge and ability to help with exactly what we wanted and presented an Outlander in red which was exactly what my wife wanted with just the right equipment she wanted.
I have been shopping for a car for over a year. To find the car I wanted in my budget wasn't easy. I was looking 3 different makes/models. One day while driving I saw the Acura TLX, and I loved the look. I actually test drove and almost bought the Audi A4, but in the back of my mind I wanted to try the TLX. Salesman Ron Comrie was amazing. He as not pushy and let me enjoy the experience of test droving the Acura ILX and the TLX. Fell in love with the TLX. If you want a great salesman who cares about the customer experience, then Ron is the guy. Great followup, too. Call him at 954-985-2424.
This was my first time at the Torrance Acura AutoNation dealership and it won't be my last. I was there for a routine maintenance service. Chris, the service technician, was excellent! He was friendly and informative (especially, at 7 a.m.). My car was serviced in a timely manner. The car wash was awesome! My car looks like it was polished! Great job Acura AutoNation!
Serramonte Acura performed a warranty repair for me and it was a flawless process. I especially want to call out one of the Cashiers who was my initial contact. I arrived with my car at an especially busy time. The Cashier stepped out and got the process started for me, even walking out to the parking lot to assign a number to my car. Really, she could have asked me to wait for a Service Consultant but she took the initiative and was great.
The Service Consultant was - Alastair, I think (please excuse spelling if not quite right) - polite, professional and personable. There's a nice, clean waiting area with plenty of reading material and a television. This isn't like the old days when a greasy mechanic would write up your order and give you a smudged carbon copy.
Finally, the repair itself seems to have been done perfectly and my car was ready to go in less than 24 hours. I'm as satisfied as can be with this trip to the dealer and will bring my car here the next time it needs attention.
