Not what we expected!
November 6, 2018
After 12 years, my wife's car finally croaked. We were expecting it and had already prepared by figuring out what we wanted in the next vehicle. She ended up really liking the Toyota Corolla. We hunted around the web for one with the features that fit our needs and saw quite a few. Our 2nd (and last) stop was Motorwerks BMW. We drove into the parking lot and saw the car. As a used car, it had some dings, but nothing that would disqualify it from our search. It was nice because we spent a few minutes looking it over and we weren't approached. We walked into the building and were directed to Leo Guzman. He couldn't have been a more perfect match for us.
Leo is very friendly, relaxed, not pompous and really wants to know what the customer needs. Every salesperson (auto or anything), will now be compared to Leo. I'm normally very defensive and hyper-aware when dealing with things that will be negotiated and Leo's mannerisms put all those to rest. He's like the neighbor that you really like. I can't recommend him enough. Leo Guzman. Look him up, you'll be glad.
As far as Motorwerks BMW, we were expecting snooty. After all, it's a luxury vehicle dealership and we're the average couple. Everyone there was very accommodating and polite. There's a coffee machine that makes a fresh cup! You won't get the swill that's left over from the morning's run. Donuts...They have donuts!
Another thing that really got my attention as an afterthought - A couple days later, I helped my sister-in-law look at a car. (I would've taken her to Leo if she hadn't already made up her mind.) When she was finalizing her purchase, the salesperson said he would take the car through the wash and put a couple bucks of gas in it. When we left, my wife's car had a full tank of gas.
Motorwerks BMW doesn't let the little stuff slide. They remember the details and do it in such a courteous manner. No matter what vehicles are in my future, they'll always be the first place I check.
