Henry Caldwell & John McDougald, What a team!!!!!!

My wife & I purchased a 2017 BMX X1 from Leith BMW. We can tell you that this was significantly insirede by the relationship we developed with Henry Caldwell & John McDougald. We currently own several older model BMW's, and we went by the dealership to get a second key made for one of our older models, a 2001 325XI wagon. When leaving the parts department that day, we began speaking with Henry, who is a super nice man. He took time to talk with us, even though we weren't looking to buy. We just sat and talked BMW's for a little while. He then walked us out to our car and welcomed us to stop back by anytime we wanted to look at or test drive, or even just sit and talk about BMW's. He really has a passion for BMW's. We came back to pick our key up the following week and once again spent a a little bit of time talking with Henry. This time we discussed the possibility of a future purchase, once we sold some other vehicles that we had. Again, he said stop by anytime, even if just to talk about BMW's. We did come by one Saturday to begin talking to Henry about a possible purchase, as we had moved one of our other vehicles. Henry happened to be off this day so John, who sits at the desk next to Henry, offered to help us sine Henry was off. He showed us around, offered several different options, including the X1. We were really there to look into purchasing a 330 xDrive. Upon discussing what our needs were, he suggested looking at to at least look at the X1, and we fell in love with it. Turned out that somebody had put a deposit on the vehicle we wanted. We decided to come back on Monday, as we had dinner plans to attend. Monday we came back, this time with my Brother who is now interested in buying a BMW as well. John stepped up to assist my brother, and the two them are still working on a deal. Meanwhile Henry began working on finding another option for my wife and I. As it later turned out, the person that had put down the deposit backed out, so we ended up purchasing the X1 we wanted in the first place. On to financing and we meet with another great employee, Brian Winters. He was very thorough with explaining everything to us, and he took the time to explain some extended warranty and maintenance programs. He explained many different options, in both term and mileage, as well as helped us to understand the details so we could make an informed decision. I never felt pressured to choose any options, and we did choose to purchase some extra coverage's. After the deal was done, Henry was still waiting for us until after the dealership closed, so he could walk us out and be sure we were completely comfortable before we drove away. We never in any way ever felt rushed or pressured, from the time we first talked to Henry, until the night we closed the deal and Henry was with us until after close. One more final recognition to Henry and how he values his customers. Our second key was accidentally locked in another salesman's desk the night we closed on our X1. Henry called me the next day when he found it and said "I will bring your key to you today". He did exactly that. He brought it to our house after we finished work. He again asked if we had any questions, and said to feel free to call him on his cell phone if we did. I can tell you that we feel like we made a couple new friends, and not just met a couple of car salesman. When we are ready to buy again, we will definitely be calling either Henry and/or John. This was the best car purchasing experience we have ever had. Every other car dealership we had ever been to made us feel unimportant and insignificant, basically just a number to them. That would include Honda, Toyota, Chevy, etc. When somebody goes to a BMW dealership, they should expect a much better experience, as we had with Henry, John and Brian. Thank you, Neil & Rachael R.
