260,000 miles and still tight as a drum. 20-23 mpg. Comfortable. Able to haul horse trailer easily. Really sorry that GM no longer makes them. Would buy another one in a heartbeat if this on wasn't running so well.

Well being a new type for me I haven’t had enough time to truly evaluate it for my life style. That said I believe it will be a excellent choice and I am a GM man

This is my second EXT. It has been in my family since new. I purchased it from my dad when he upgraded. We have had a lot of fun on vacations in this EXT and it really does ride great on long rides. Plenty of power from the 6.2 V8. The back cover seals really good so you can haul your luggage in the back.

General Motors needs to install different type of rings to eliminate clattering. Good car otherwise.

This car has so many amenities it's as if you're driving in luxury. It has a TV for anyone sitting in the back, onstar radio, automatic seats etc so much more

BEST Looking crew cab truck I've ever purchase, just love the styling and the ease of the three panel bed cover that one person can remove if needed. the ride is just great! after all it's a Cadillac. I've gotten so many compliments the first time i drove it to work,it get's a lot of looks any where i go.

I love the way this truck converts from a passenger car to a hauler. With the mid gate down I can carry 4x8 sheetrock or plywood totally inside out of the weather. 10 foot 2x4s will go in this truck. With 400 hp it will keep up with the beat of them. Passing is no problem. Mileage is not too bad at 13 -15 mpg. I own two of these and if they still made them I'd have a new one.

It was a really good experience even though I did not buy a vehicle there. K the salesman was great! No B.S.! I was going to come back to take a truck for a drive and he let me know that the truck was only 2wd and I wanted 4wd so he saved me from wasting my time and his. He was also very good about letting me see all the options they had etc. I will go back there if I see something of interest.

Wonderful vehicle, and plenty of looks to go with it! Gas mileage is a factor, as it's not the best, but runs perfectly fine on regular gas. Extremely comfortable, with the ability to tow.

This truck drives wonderfully on the highway. The best ride of any vehicle I have ever driven. It has plenty of room and built for comfort. I do not know why Cadillac stopped making it. One of the best looking and performing trucks on the roads.

Great all around safe and versatile vehicle. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I'm on my fourth Escalade now and miss the EXT model, at least they still make the ESV though new prices are getting scary.

If you have a dream car in mind this is the place to go. Call Scott Brand he went way beyond the call of duty here by finding a Dodge Challenger SRT8 plum crazy purple. We live 5 hours away and Scott made it so easy with getting it financed as well as making us feel like family. I have driven this car, as a daily driver, for the better part of a decade. I am not the first owner; I’m actually the 7th! It has been all over the country, I myself driving it from Florida to North Carolina quite a bit, to city driving in DC and NYC. Reliable platform, great power, the mid gate has come into use for all sorts of loads, from cutting down trees to stone and brick. Your going to sacrifice mpg, but you should already know that if your buying a V8 6.0 liter. As far as repairs, usual wear and tear, plus this was the first year for this truck, so a surprising amount of parts are not interchangeable with the avalanche or other GM platforms. The cost for repairs depends on the mechanic and the shop; the parts are up there a bit, but cheaper than my Lexus. Still worth it, I drive this vehicle all the time. The gmt 800 platform is outstanding. I noted “having fun” as a primary use, but I use it for almost every option they had listed here.

I bought my Cadillac Escalade EXT as a low-mileage, one-owner vehicle in beautiful condition. Ihave to say that I am 100% pleased with my purchase in every way. I marked five stars on every category excpet Exterior Styling, which I gave a four. The only reason for that it that I like the newer (2007+) styling better. My Escalade offers all the creature comforts one would expect of a vehicle in this class, superb ride comfort, and the utility and convenience of both an SUV and a pickup. What more could you want? Gas mileage on vehicles of this type is going to be an issue, but I'm averaging over 15 mpg and over 20 mpg on a trip, so I don't think that's bad for a vehicle that weighs close to 6000 pounds. All in all, an excellent value; particularly when purchased used, as first year depreciation can be as much as $20,000. Mine only has 71,000 miles on it right now and performs flawlessly, but when the time comes to replace it, I will definitely buy another Cadillac Escalade EXT. There is nothing else on the market that compares.
