The Joe Basil dealership family includes a Classic Car dealer. I have purchased 2 classics from this dealer. Both vehicles were transported to Texas with transport worked into the deals. Both cars were bought site unseen - first time to ever do that for me! Sight unseen was quite nerve-wracking for me. Both vehicles exceeded my expectations and have been a pure pleasure to own & drive. My sales rep was Nick for both vehicles who was easy and up front to deal with. I will use Nick again on any future purchases, I continue to watch the Basil website for any other must have classics! Buy with total confidence!!

Great car. My wife calls it a "Chick Magnet." The only fault the car has is Getting Parts! Once you have the parts, finding someone who knows about the car is a real trip! most mechanics don't want to touch the car. But with all the potential problems, still love the car!

This was a very quick and easy experience. I totaled my vehicle last Friday, visited Honda that following Tuesday and was able to take my car home 2 days later. Tyler was super kind and went out of his way to help me and my family get this done as quick and efficiently as possible. Awesome car. 2007 Base in 'passion red' # 225 of 250. First roadster I've ever owned, so I can say its the best I've ever owned. Purchased last year with 98k miles and the car runs and drive like new. Everything works (for now) its been a lot of fun getting to know it.

Sales and finance teams were extremely flexible and attentive, listening to my concerns and working to find solutions. They supported 2 different test drives when I had a concern about a specific driving condition, being extremely flexible working around my schedule. Cam, Austin, and Alec worked together to provide answers to all of my questions regarding financing and extended warranties. When a last minute issue arose on a Friday afternoon, their maintenance department obtained the part and swapped it out on a Saturday morning to allow me to pickup the car that afternoon. Communication was excellent, receiving 2 status updates that morning.

When I get to Skokie he had everything already signed on his end so all I had to do was sign my parts, and after the test drive and some small talk about the car, I bought it and was in and out of the dealership within 45 minutes. I have owned two xlr' s to date and now planning on moving up to the V. Procrastinated several years considering the cost of the higher-octane fuel required by the V. Retired now so don't plan to drive so much, I am going to keep the 2007 limited edition base (250 made) I have now so I can still ride in stile on regular gas. The 2007 has 63K on it I have put brake pads on the front and replaced the AC compressor. You would do that with any car. The top is an engineering marvel. Everyone who has commented on the car thought it was new, OK, maybe not everyone, there are a few who know the car, all are envious. Such a hoot coming out of a store knowing you get to drive off in the best-looking car in the whole parking lot. Fun to drive is a gross understatement. For me, there was no need to put the super charger on this car. At a buck thirty, I got scared of what would happen if I hit a deer, it was still climbing when I backed out of it. I also have the 2002 red with black interior Eldo.

I was recently at classic cars of Sarasota and found the receptionist very friendly as well as the manager. There are many interesting cars in various price ranges. Most were in good to excellent condition. It was a very positive experience.

The perfect car for me. I have always wanted an XLR. Cadillac convertibles are my weakness. I have had several and none disappointed me. I am 82 years old but with this car I feel 28. Every thing about it pleases me It. It has a black interior and a black exterior just like the Cadillac convertible I purchased in 1972 and still have.

I’m 60 years old and owned at least 50 cars from low end to high end cars. This car is the BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned it has it all good looks, awesome performance, all kinds of luxury appointments, superior ride especially for a roadster, roomy I’m 6 4 230 and have ample room. Convertible top works flawlessly and hardly any road noise. I will always own at least one of these until the day I die. Absolutely love it!

I have been driving a 2005 for 10 years. I have driven across country 3 times. The ride is smooth and comfortable. Handles like a vet, but is Cadillac comfort all the way. Picking up my new 2006 tomorrow. Looking forward to another 10 years of fun!

I love my 2008 XLR. Leased it new. Lease was up so I thought they wanted too much money of course so I left it at the dealers and rented something else. We were in Florida and I saw one in a showroom. Went to look at price but it was sold. Looked at a listing for one in the area, and there was my car, mileage, vin number etc. so I called and asked if it was a former lease. Yes. From Colonial Cadillac in Danvers Ma. Answer: yes who is this. I explained and he asked me what the dealer wanted. They must think women can be rolled over. My answer was the same xxxx price you have it listed for. So NO. I went to test drive it and they were giving away Starbucks gift cards. It was so sad. My dog ran right over to the car whimpering. It took about another month with no wiggle room. BUT I called said I was leaving for Ma next week, last offer and have a nice life. I of course was lying, told me the car was mine and spent 2 more months in Fl and shopped it back home where it gets used infrequently with the to down.

This car creates quite a STATEMENT. VERY IMPRESSIVE! This immaculate convertible is pure smooth luxury that is a joy to drive. I have two of these! I moved and I have too few parking spaces and too many cars.
