It's primitive compared to today's cars - 4 speed manual transmission, manual brakes, heat is on or off (but the A/C will blow ice cubes out of the vents), gauges instead of idiot lights, with an actual carburetor and distributor! I LOVE IT! Yes, it requires regular maintenance. No, it doesn't get great gas mileage, but really, would you buy a car like this for its MPG? No. It's one of the best looking cars ever designed, and it's so fun to drive. Everywhere I go, people come over to look at it and talk about it. You don't get that with today's look-alike cars. It has gobs of power for its weight (less than 10lbs/HP). With an upgraded suspension, it not only holds its own against modern cars, you have to move into serious $$$$ territory before you can beat it. Best of all, I don't need thousands of dollars of electronic test equipment to figure out what's wrong with it when it doesn't run right. AND, it's really easy and cheap to fix. Parts are readily available. There aren't any $100 sensors in it, that are no bigger than your thumb, which take 3 hours of labor just to get to them and change them out. I'll keep this car until the day I die.

He made sure my family and I felt comfortable, never pressured to make a purchase. As well as our financial rep I forgot his name but he was Salvadorian. A friend of mind told me about Cooper Corvettes, when I was in the area I decided to check them out. Pulled into the lot and saw several nice Corvettes that looked real good. Walked around checking them out. Rick Poage came out, introduced himself and we talked about what my wife and I were looking for, and he showed me what he had. He offered to let me test drive what he had, but while I liked several, I had not seem the one. Showed me one in the showroom and that was the car. He moved it outside and let me test drive it. Low mileage, nice color, clean, in good shape, reasonable priced and most important my wife also like it. A little negotiation and I have my vette. Rick went over all the controls, options on the car, and buttons. I had a very enjoyable ride home, would buy another car from Rick/Cooper Corvettes.
