I had the pleasure of working with Dennis Blair (sales) and Quienten "Q" Clark (finance) two weeks ago on a new Ford Edge ST purchase. I had looked any many different makes and models and really liked the 2018 Ford Edge Sport that I originally drove at a dealer in Longmont. Short version is I got the high pressure sales tactics (I've been in sales for 20 years so that was NOT going to work on me). So next day I called Interstate Ford and was connected with Dennis. I explained what I was looking for and was ok waiting for 3 months for the new ST model. Went down and talked to him F2F and knew I was going to buy from him. Dennis has been doing this a long time and was easy to work with, answered my questions, and actually asked about my background. Dennis introduced me to Q so I had a chance to speak with him, learn about their extended warranty options, and even had them look at my current vehicle and get a $ number for trade in value. All of this was several months before I made the purchase. Three months later the car I ordered showed up and I bought it. I had already met the team and was quite comfortable with the process. Most of the paperwork was already done so I only spent about 90 minutes there from start to finish. I highly recommend Dennis, Q and the rest of the team at Interstate Ford.
After driving my car that I got when I was 16 for the past 13 years, I was a little rusty on the car buying experience. With friendly salesmen who weren’t pushy, I was able to make a deal in a relatively short period of time and felt great about my experience.
This was our second car we bought from Longmont Ford dealership and it too was a very good experience. No pressure and lots of patience! Nick was fabulous and showed us whatever we asked to see and never tried to push us into anything. He walked away when we needed to discuss and was right there when we had more questions. I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
Ford was delayed in getting the necessary parts out but they provided me with a rental. I was a bit frustrated with the length of time required to obtain the part - even more frustrated wtih the actual problem that exists with superduty trucks related to the steering stabilizer.
We bought a truck yesterday and we would not have done that if it hadn't been for Calvin Allen. Our interaction with him was so positive, we just couldn't walk away. We felt like he was giving us the straight scoop and looking out for our interests, also. He is an excellent salesman and a fine human.
