Purchased a 2010 Town and Country from Alamo Car Center For my family, and was so pleased with the entire process. Travis and Jeffrey were professional and personable, and we negotiated a nice price. Before finalizing the deal, I took the car to my local mechanic (who by the way had great things to say about the Alamo Car Center) and he checked it out and found some minor things that needed to be done. I took this list to ALAMO and they took care of everything for me (no extra charge). After purchasing the car I noticed that there was a decent size chip on the windshield. I called Patrick and before I could finish telling him he said "no problem, we'll give you a new windshield at no charge." These guys are great!

A beautiful truck, mine is a Supercab Lariat model. I have yet to find a vehicle with an interior that I like as much as I do on this truck, it was the reason I searched long and hard for one with this trim. The tan leather, accented by woodgrain and silver trim with chrome accented gages along with the huge comfortable captains chairs and the suprisingly comfortable rear seat on this truck make it truly feel like a flagship model, which it is. There are a few rattles here and there in the interior, nothing extreme. It has all the power bells and whistles including a power moonroof and sliding rear window. The rear window had to be replaced once because it cracked, which was common with the 2010 models from what I hear. 2010 was the first year they offered a defroster equipped rear slider window and the glass would break after heating up and cooling down cycles. No huge deal either, insurance covered it. The ride is a little jiggly unloaded, don't forget it IS a F-150 pickup truck. I do actually use it for hauling now and then, alot of dirt bike transporting, some heavier stuff like flooring, firewood, scrap metal, general homeowner type stuff. It has handled it well. The "man-step" on the rear tailgate is really useful and I love using it. Makes climbing in and out of the bed a breeze. The performance of the 5.4L V8 is solid. I hear its a little down on power to its peers, but the 5.4L has since been updated with more powerful engines. I haven't had any issues with it in almost 100,000 miles knock on wood, so I cant knock it! A slight exhaust leak has developed recently, nothing horrible just that slight "tick"noise under load. I hope it isn't the manifold, but I hear manifold cracks are common with this engine. The transmission seems solid with some occasional hard shifts when cold. That was subject of a Ford service bulletin, there is nothing to remedy it, they just shift a little hard before they are up to normal operating temperature. I did have a small transmission leak because of a bad seal, which is another common issue with this era truck. I enjoy driving the truck, it handles pretty good for a truck, fairly tight turning radius. It is difficult to turn your head and judge the rear of the truck when backing up...thank goodness for the backup camera and proximity sensors...they help alot. Brakes could be a bit more powerful, but not bad as they are. I definitely wouldn't want them as touchy as my Father's 2016 Toyota Tacoma. The only huge issue I have with this truck is a few issues of rust/rot that I believe was premature. We live in an area where there is A LOT, probably an EXCESSIVE amount of corrosive road salt applied to the roads. This caused the rocker panels to absolutely rot to pieces to the point they had to be replaced last year. I was really dissappointed to see this happen at the relitively low age of 7 years old. The rocker panels are of a poor design, allowing salt and water to get trapped up in them and then they rot from the inside out. But I cant rip on Ford vehicles for this, it happens to just about all brands. I've seen Chevy and Dodge trucks from the same area with rust just as bad, even worse in spots. Toyotas have vehicles with their frames recalled because of rot issues. It is a total shame that so many vehicles are ruined because of salt related corrosion. The rust did break my heart a bit on this truck, but looking back on the 7 years I've owned it, its been a damn good vehicle overall. I still think its an absolute stunner exterior and interior looks wise and it still gets the job done when there is a load to haul. And nothing is sweeter then riding up front on big heated leather chairs hauling a load of scrap metal or manure in the bed!!

Purchased this Lariat 4 x 4 new. Currently has 112,000 miles and still looks and runs as great as the day I drove it home. The Lariet package is pure luxury. Love the heated and cooled leather seats. Not comfortable with the new full size trucks with 4 and 6 cylinder engines. Would never buy a full sized truck without a big fossil fuel burning V8. I don’t trust a smaller engine to do the work these trucks are built for.

I purchased my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock in January 2016. I located this Wrangler on the internet. I sent an email to Blue Bonnet Jeep that I was interested in their Wrangler. I received a return email from Robert Solis advising me that this Jeep was still available and we agreed on a price. The next hurdle I really thought would be difficult because I live in North Texas about 4 hours away. I wanted a firm price on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that I was trading in before I drove all the way to their dealership....sight unseen. Robert gave me a firm price. My husband had a road race in Copperas Cove on Saturday. After the race at 1pm, we drove to New Braunfels. We pulled my Jeep next to the new Jeep. Robert met us outside with the key. I gave him my key. I drove the new Jeep around the block. Went to sit in Roberts office and I just knew that the deal was going to change. It didn't. I couldn't believe it. Luis Gonzalez received my information when I was searching for a vehicle (totaled by a hail storm). He offered to pick me up from the bus stop because I had no clue of where he was located being new to the area. I informed Luis of the changes that happens without having a vehicle for your daily routines and any upcoming engagements that were planned before this tragedy. My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

It’s April 2019 and I’ve owned my 2009 F150 FX4 S/crew 5.4L since factory ordering it back in July 2009. I haven’t regretted buying this truck once in 10 years now, it’s been a good, reliable vehicle that I plan to keep for many years yet. It’s pulled a trailer across North America, it’s been to the Arctic Ocean, and it’s also been my daily driver all these years. Not many issues to report with it, repair wise I’ve replaced the passenger side exhaust manifold and the a/c pump drive clutch and that’s about it. Maintenance wise I changed the spark plugs out after 7 years with no difficulty, kept the oil changed properly since new (Motorcraft oil filters exclusively) and put a new accessory drive belt and brake pads on last year just because I thought it was time. I recently took a 2018 F150 s/crew out for a test drive and decided it didn’t have much to offer over my 2009, there didn’t seem to be any earth shattering differences driving the two around except the one I have now doesn’t have a $70,000 sticker on it so I’m staying with the 2009 for a while yet.
