From crisis to comfort - best car-buying experience ever!

When Brad Bartlett approached me as I got out of my car at Joe Machens Ford, my guard went up....I really just wanted to "look" in peace....the last thing I wanted was a pushy salesman. Brad was far from it. From the get-go, he was low key, knowledgeable, fair, direct and pleasant. He earned my business and my loyalty. I came to trust him and I highly recommend him. He's a true professional. I'd been driving my Lexus SUV 14+ years. I loved the car and cared for it religiously. Even so, it died on the highway at 165,000 miles. With three kids in college and a new job, I'd planned on driving the "paid for" vehicle to at least 200,000. It "fit" my lifestyle perfectly. I wanted to find the same "lifestyle and pocketbook fit". I wasn't sure if that meant SUV or sedan. I came to Ford to explore both. I'd seen Fords I liked, but didn't know what they were. Patiently, intelligently and always mindful of my financial parameters, Brad helped me through the process. He asked questions. He offered information, insight and opinions. He let me compare - at Ford and elsewhere. He was an informed, fair sounding board. We explored new and pre-owned. He gave me the space to make decisions - first on sedan, then on Fusion. And that was when Brad's effort and abilities really came into play. He helped me decide what options I needed and could afford. And when he didn't have the car with those specs, he found it and got it for me. Knowing I'd shop any price, he delivered a compelling one. Even then, I worked to better deal Brad and Ford, but couldn't. By the questions he asked and answers to questions I asked, Brad guided me to the perfect car for me at the right price. Moreover, I came to trust Brad. Trust led to comfort and comfort led to decision. I appreciate the level of honest professionalism Brad delivered. And I'd recommend him to anyone.
