When looking for a reasonably priced used cars I was so excited when I ran across 518 Auto Sales and the large selection of cars they had!!! The staff including Alex, Wendy, Kyle and Scott were awesome and made me feel right at home!! I will spread the word about this place!!!
Great truck
184,000 and still runs like new! I bought this truck in 2008 with 30,000 miles on it. So far I replaced the rear end (towed alot) and alternator. They were the only two major things the rest has been just wear and tear.

2005 Colorado problems
I've owned a 2005 Colorado for 17 yrs, got it with 33k on it & now have 340k on it. It now has a antifreeze leak in cyl2 & 5. The airbag light has been on for the last 100k. The dash light dimmer has been a problem for the last 100k. I've replaced the rotors once & the front hubs 3 times. There's a short in the dash that happens whenever if feels like. I just thump the dash & that clears it up for a couple months, sometimes. The wiper control now fails me 50% of the time. The tail gate handle has fallen apart, the heater control module failed once. The drivers side power window won't work without some physical help going up & down. I replaced the rear drums & brakes at 200k. Replaced the front brakes 5 times now. I also replaced the water pump at 280k. I'm also on my 3rd set of tires & they look pretty good still. I certainly had my share of problems with this truck but I once owned a Ford f150 & found it to be the worst truck I ever own compared to my chevy. So would I ever buy another one? xxxx yes, in fact I just found a 2005 canyon crew with low kms & I'm looking forward to picking it up shortly into the new yr. Now you might ask why the xxxx would i want another one after going through all the troubles I've experienced. Well simply put I know what to expect with these trucks & how to fix them. It doesn't matter what brand you want to be loyal to its more about what your prepared to tolerate & deal with when problems arise. Really for the most part there all junk & they all have there own problems, you just have to decide which one you're willing to deal with.

Unexpectedly Surprised!
Unexpectedly Surprised! Jim, aka Turk, the 2nd generation owner of Diamond Jim’s is a 10 out of 10 and if the scale was out of 100, he would be a 100 out 100. Here’s my story: I have had over 35 Corvettes and had been looking for a 2015 Corvette - Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic - convertible - 7 speed manual for 18 months and finally found one and it was at Diamond Jim’s in Milwaukee, WI. I called and spoke with Jim and he suggested that we FaceTime and we did for it a good 20 minutes. Car was great except the tires were a little worn … not a problem … I put a deposit down and scheduled a flight from Southwest Florida to Milwaukee with the plans of driving it back 1,430 miles! 🤪 I have never flown cross country to buy a car before so I was a little nervous to say the least. We arrived at Diamond Jim’s and met Jim … the car was everything he said it was and better (fair price too)! This is when things turned to the unbelievable and quiet frankly, shocking … Jim said he felt uneasy selling me the Corvette with the slightly worn tires so he replaced them with brand new OEM exact factory replacement Michelin tires!! I have another, identical Corvette and recently replaced the tires on that one for a whopping $2,000!! 🫣 Jim apologized for not giving me a full tank of gas (it was 1/2 full) … I said, “Let me see, a full tank of gas or $2,000 worth new tires!!” He laughed and said the construction in front of his dealership prevented him from filling up the tank! He’s a true gentleman. Then, to add to this amazing person that I just met, Jim called us about 2 hours later during our drive home making sure that we were doing OK!! Lastly, we plan on buying another car within the next year and there is no doubt that we will call Jim, take his word for the description of the car, pay for it and ship it to Florida … we drove the 1,430 miles in 28 hours and we don’t plan on doing it again! 😁 I have been buying cars since the late 1970’s and I have never had a better experience than I did with Jim at Diamond Jim’s and I give them the highest recommendation possible!! 👍

Very Happy
Very pleased! We test drove several cars before making an offer on a 2005 Chevy Malibu. Matt was willing to deal and we got the car within our budget. Great experience! Well run, family owned business.
Owned Since New
I've had this little truck since I ordered it new in April 2005 / I5 engine / Z71 option, automatic transmission and now with 147K miles. It has never failed me. The only repairs have been 2 water pumps - they don't seem to last long term - maybe 70K miles tops. As for everything else? the truck has been flawless. MPG is 19-20, no matter if city or highway. I've had mine always garaged and detailed every year or two. Have had people today ask me if this is some experimental 2021 or 2022 model - the body is flawless, and as such, some people think it's a new model, and love the size and looks of it. Evidently, not many flawless 2004-2012 Canyon/Colorados running around and a testament of the design. Overall, if I could advise GM how to design a true world-class small pickup in 2020-2030? I'd say - take this general body design, put some nicer seats in, give it a diesel option, and you're good to go. I love this truck.

Basic reliabale vehicle
I have around 200,000 miles on my truck. Very basic truck, not to econimic in fuel. The electric seat options quit working long ago. The electric lock is no good. But over all it's a nice reliable truck. The engine and drive train haven't given me any trouble at all.
