It’s what was best of the 17-21 then add more refinement. The +r mode can pogo sometimes but not a big deal since can program all the +r features with the comfort or sport suspension under individual. Sound system is fantastic, interior ergonomics are fantastic, spacious, 320 miles per tank which is good for a performance hatchback, track performance in stock form is fantastic, can hang with cars it’s not got business hanging with.

One of the well-constructed cars I owned. I owned seven Honda/ Acura cars never one disappointment. The six speeds can run up to 7k RPM. This is a small rocket when needed in R-Mode. Comfort mode is great when it comes to mpg gas.

I came to Honda of Fort Myers to look at a vehicle and was kindly introduce to Travis. He truly was a wonderful salesman to work with. He took his time and povided great knowledge and support without putting pressure to buy. He made sure to walk me through the process best as possible. That being said. Other team members were not so great with the financial negotiation. At one point she literally almost talked me out of getting the vehicle. I felt like it was being interogated for my choice in getting the vehicle. I truly wanted to walk away but to Travis's credit and his great approach at handling customer service i decided to push through it. I have dealt with many car salesman and Travis truly is a major asset to Honda of Fort Myers. They received a sale all due to him and his guest service skills. This man deserves a raise or a manager position. He can definitely make the dealership grow in a positive way.

1st of all you are giving a car that is beating lamborgin/porsche caymans/bmws best and more 3 stars?? "haha" Take it to a track and you will see why Honda is going to make elite cars think about pricing! I own a 2022 porsche 911 turbo s, and i have owned many bmw audi and ferrari. I have raced rally for years and this type R even at 60k smokes the competition. Mind blown how it holds the corners and zips right back up with the top porsche cayman gt3 gt4. Just a joy to drive!

I purchased the 2023 Honda type R on December 14th and what can I say this is an incredible car, I just can't wait to start my new weekend hobby road course racing.

My wife and I live in Jacksonville, so naturally we looked around at the Honda dealerships here. Not finding a positive connection, we looked online and showed interest in a Fit that Lake City had. Not only did they outperform and out price ANY dealer in Jacksonville, they treated us like friends. They didn't sell us a car...they sold us on them. Not only did we buy the car but my family here plans on buying theirs in Lake City as well. It's been 5 month since I got my Type R, and it was the right choice for me . It might be for everyone so I recommend taking a test drive if the dealer let's you and get your finance done ans shop around for MSRP. I had no problem driving 1400 miles round trip and wasn't beat driving the car. This is a keeper for sure.

Responded quickly and was willing to work with me on the selection of a vehicle. Due to the distance from the dealership I did not find a suitable vehicle for which I was willing to make the trip.

Car is surprisingly compliant, I’ve had a few big Audis and vws with low profile tires and this car is really comfortable in comfort mode, took it immediately to a private event at Palmer a few weeks back and the car in stock form did fabulously, definitely lives up to the hype.... and then some. Only downside so far is the lack of options for tires since this car has odd-sized tires, non oem wheels are out of the question, the car has zero torque steer, aftermarket wheels would make all the magic go away. Also, 30mpg is a big plus. I traded my 2011 Range Rover sport for this and honestly the Honda rides better. Leaving the car stock will be the main goal, the car to my eyes is absolutely perfect and livable for daily duties. One thing I’ve noticed lately is that the car has not stopped from appreciating. Future classic is an understatement.

Overall, great experience? The only problem was the person we contacted and was supposed to to meet ended up not showing up when we got there and he didn?t contact us to let us know he couldn?t make it. However, someone else stepped in and had all or our information ready and was able to help finish the process easily.

This car was great for daily driving as well as just enjoying the ride. Lots of space both in the cab as well as the trunk, quick, fun. Would definitely recommend!

The 2021 Civic Type R is the most fun car I have ever owned. Not the fastest I own, but in +R mode it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on! Tightest steering, insane response over 5000 RPM and the “glued to the pavement” feeling make even driving to work entertaining. Best bang for the buck!

Our service representative greeted us promptly. Anthony, listen to the concerns that I had about my vehicle. He was very attentive and address my needs. Anthony maintain contact with me through out the day via text messaging he let me know, that's a service technician was gathering information. He explained all the findings, which were few shared recommendations rather than scare tactics. I was able to make My an educated decisions based on the information given. Jose, our courtesy driver who dropped us off. Was just the same he was very professional helping my wife and son in and out of the vehicle his lite conversation and was very prompt to return to pick us up once we called, it was very hot yesterday and grateful that Jose responded to our call promptly. Best all around Bang for your buck "IF!!!!" you can find it for Sticker price I had to go to 17 dealerships to finally have one sell me one at sticker price. It is amazing car. TIRES: Current Stock tires tend to scramble for traction more times than I would like but sticker ties should fix that. RIMS: These 20" rims... this is a surprisingly comfortable ride, but allow Jesus on your side if you hit a pot hole, to bless your rims for another ride. TRANSMISSION: Seems to have an issue with downshifting which seems to be a known issue by most TYPE R owners. The shifter will not go into 4th, 3rd or 1st easily occasionally has been my issue. This is very annoying when it happens especially since its a brand new car but no where near a deal break at this point in ownership. COMFORT:Seats are next level comfortable, OMG car is almost worth just the seats on long trips short trips, sometimes I just want to hope in the car just to relax. PERFORMANCE: Is not...whats the word.... Fun. What I mean by that is, i've driven EVO 8, Silva, Intera, Miata, Prelude, RX-7, Skyline, RX-8, and WRX STI, and the Honda Civic is a better performing car than all of these vehicles, however all of these other vehicle FEEL more fun to drive because of the way the Type R delivers its performance. Its calm, collected, third gear will launch you from 30-->80mph in like 3-4 seconds and you have no idea you are retardedly beyond the speed limit until you hit the breaks and then the speed becomes apparent. Around turns it just grips and takes you through the turn. No drama, no excitement, no fun, just surgically, expertly, confidently a driving professional. This may be an awful description but I really hope it helps someone out! CLEANING: If you are doing it by hand there are so many nooks and crannies on the exterior it is quite the endeavor. Also the alcantara/suede/ whatever it is seats grab particles and hair like nobodies business. Overall the worst part about this vehicle is having to deal with the Honda dealerships.

After I drove it around for an hour or so to get my shifting swagger of my pre-Prius days (15 years ago!!), I gunned it and holiee shiiiiiiiiiiii. I felt like a criminal. I'm mostly a well mannered gentleman but at that moment I must tell you that it feels good to be a gangster. A few of my buddies are rolling new 911s now and I thought for the longest time....actually every night on YouTube....about possibly getting one. Well, after receiving this Type R yesterday, I'm glad that I spent a third of the money to get enough of the fun with this. It's good enough for a guy that prefers to stay in his nice sofa than some cold hard jail cell. I don't wanna be put in the slammer. I got two kids. This, my friends, will do the trick for you too. Live a little, you know.
