Used Honda CR-V for sale near Capitol Heights, MD under $10,000

Too bad I can't give this a 6 star rating! Several months ago I bought a certified pre-owned 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness from Stohlman Subaru of Sterling. I had been leasing cars for 10 years and this was a big step forward to buy one. EVERY single person I dealt with from my sales expert (Vic), to their financing guru (Josh), and their very helpful post-purchase car tour/tutorial (Chris) took their time to answer any and all questions I had, to inform me about every step that was being taken, and they were very patient without forcing the sale on me. This was a HUGE help to make me feel like I was making the right decision since I was not intending on buying that day, but I couldn't pass up this car and it wouldn't have stayed on the lot very long either. Additionally, a big shout out to Emma and Rachel in the Service department! I had to get a tow hitch installed and a warranty issue dealt with and they were so helpful with the entire process from scheduling to setting me up with a loaner and keeping me updated on the status of the car. My mother got this car new and gave it to me after only a couple years. I absolutely ADORED this car. So reliable and comfortable. I would still be driving it if a semi truck hadn't fallen on it, crushing us over the guardrail, rolling us a few times. We would not have survived that in most cars. This car has ample room above you that crushes down. I had previously wondered once why the ceiling was so high. Life saver. The seat belt held so fast and hard that I have a massive bruise from it. The seat belts had my friend and I hanging upside down. This is a fantastic car. Sad to see it go! I will probably get another.

Bought a neglected 2005 CRV in 2020 with 150k miles on it. Did most of the repairs myself (extensive YouTube videos) and cheap parts are available. I put in Royal Purple high mileage oil, changed out the transmission fluid (really easy) every 15k miles. New plugs and wires, rear differential fluid change, valve cover gasket, and vvt solenoid with O2 sensors. Believe it or not that’s only $400 and I paid $2000. It runs like new. Only bad feature is the paint is terrible for this silver car in Florida. Going strong with 185k miles and I fully expect to get more than 220k.

I made contact with sales person Yasser, and had interaction with Oscar in his absence. The 2013 Ford Explorer was represented properly, bought site unseen, by looking at pictures and Facetime call. Vehicle came Va inspected, was super clean upon delivery, no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend the dealership as they seem like nice guys, reputable and delivered what they promised.

It's longer than most SUVs. I've been able to haul both drywall and plywood still closing the rear door. It's been great to travel with, the back seats fold all the way down.

I bought this for my first car and was honestly amazing. I'm so upset that its totaled and will miss her so much. My only complaint about it was the Air Conditioning during HOT HOT summers would blow out warm air, but I think its a common issue. At 151k miles, it developed this sound with the exhausted, but nevertheless, an amazing, dependable car for a girl who knows nothing about them.

Over all good car but 4 cyl engine lacks power. A 6 cyl should have been an option. Door locks (actuator) not reliable. Transmission ,breaks , and suspension are great.

I have owned my CRV since 2008. Other than normal wear and tear, I have had no issues. My only regret is not buying the EX or EXL. The wheels on the LX are ugly.

Old car. 300k. Typical replacement items. Always starts. Perfect size and utility. Easy to work on. Kinda ugly. Drives great. Stereo is great. Mileage is notable. Add oil and keep on going

We have owned our CRV for close to 10 years now. From 65k miles to 192k. The A/c went out years ago and no problem since fixing it. Replaced the alternator at maybe 160k. That’s it. They are not fast. We get about 23mpg combined. It’s the best car we have ever owned as far as reliability and function. Comfortable with a large trunk. Some may start to consume a little oil, just add a bottle of ring seal once or twice a year. Great car

Bought new in 2000. 217000 miles in 2021. Only ever needed scheduled maintenance except a little valve work at 180,000 miles when the check engine light came on. I couldn’t sense any cylinder issues, but my state requires that check engine issues be fixed before they renew the tag. Here’s a tip about the grade logic system. If you’re slowly accelerating up a gentle incline and the car will not produce a gear shift when you know it should, just jiggle the shift lever up into neutral and immediately back down into drive. The transmission will find the next gear. Do not take your foot off the accelerator and do not linger in neutral. The engine won’t rev and the transmission will shift smoothly if you do it quickly.

Not a sexy high performance sport Ute but a very practical vehicle that is just about bullet proof in terms of reliability. It does all things well but not really exceptional in any area.

Our vehicle now has 150,000 miles. Its performing great. Pretty good gas mileage and has had minimal service other than routine. It does have a rattle when first starting car. We had that fixed ($800) but now it's back. Dang. The one exterior design problem we face is the latch for the rear hatch. The location is poor. EVERYONE tries to open the hatch just under the window where there is a cut out and has pulled off trim and messed with the back up camera. I've noticed that has been fixed on newer models. It does not seem to do really well in the snow due to the weight distribution. Even with new tires. But its been super dependable and has been our people and dog moving car for 10 years and has really held up well.

Straightforward guys. What you see is what you get. You have all the time in the world to check and decide. There is a zillion cars good and bad. They sell used cars at affordable prices. Issued my tags while treating me to a coffee. An extra guarantee is provided for a fee. Bought a car, and a friend that I recommended got one too.

I had to replace 4 quickstruts, rear adjustable control rods, spark plugs and valve adjustment at 105,000 miles. The front sway bar had to be repaired. The usual brakes and tires. The valves needed to be adjusted as they were not to specification anymore . I didn’t mind spending the money because I plan on keeping this CR-V past 250,000 miles.
