We had begun to consider trading our 2014 Honda Odyssey van for a 2019 model when we took our car in for service. While there we met Kevin Coffman, a sales rep. He asked us if he could show us a 2019 Pearl White Odyssey from the lot while we waited. We agreed, so he went out in the rain to bring one up under cover for us to see. He started at the tailgate, showing us the hands-free opener, the cargo space, and the hidden gas funnel for use with a gas can fill-up. Then he explained the new "no gas cap" feature which we had never seen. Next was removing the middle console/seat in the 2nd row and showing us the ease in changing the seat configuration which allows easy access to the back row. The dashboard features blew us away and was over whelming, but Kevin said that he would work with us until we were comfortable using them, as well as gave us HondaTechTutor.com as a resource for reference. He assured us that the features are much more user-friendly than they are on our 2014. Next was under-the-hood!! Wow! We have been very happy with our gas mileage, etc., on our 2014, but the 2019 is even better. Kevin was as knowledgeable about the engine compartment as he was the interior features. We couldn't believe how long he spent explaining it all! The test drive was wonderful...definitely less road noise..good pick-up...smooth handling. Afterward Kevin asked if we were interested in possibly making a trade-in, very low-key and no pressure. We said it was worth considering, but were interested in several colors other than white. Since it quit raining, he took us out on the lot to show us what the other colors looked like in person. We were possibly interested in the Pacific Pewter and Lunar Silver, so Kevin searched other dealerships to see what was available. Some were, but all of them out-of-state, so the white was as good a choice as any. Kevin took our 2014 out and checked it over to see what kind of a deal he could offer us. We had also purchased it at Airport Honda, and they have given us great service and sent us coupons frequently. When Kevin came back with his best offer on our 4-year old 65,000 mile care, we were absolutely shocked!! We couldn't believe that we could get this newer model with more features for about half of it's sticker price, and for less than we paid for the 2014. Well, LONG story short, we drove home in a new 2019 Honda Odyssey...after Kevin took time to walk us through the set up of the radio, safety settings, etc. We are very glad we made this decision, and know that Kevin expects us to contact him with any concerns or questions we may have. We even have his cell phone number!! He is very personable, good listener, and no pressure...let's the product sell itself...and it did!!
