All rotor brakes. Six gear transmission. "J" Pattern shifter. Semi manual shifting mode. Drives like a sports car. Very safe.

Love driving the 2003 Jaguar S-Type. Leather interior, bucket seats, decent gas mileage. Not bad for a 17 year old vehicle that is fun to drive.

The 8-cylinder Jaguar S-Type has no serious problems. Runs like a top. Interior is very luxurious. This car gets great gas mileage and has classic beauty.

They offer mostly European vehicle that are great in shape and function. I found this dealer just on my way from CA to Seattle after not satisfying with CA dealership behavior. The purchase was quick and easy. I normally take my car to pre-purchase inspection before buying any vehicle but this time I didn’t get there since Freeman motors has its own professional shop. I bought the 2003 S-Type V6 in 2007 after a dealer service rep stated that in 2003 most of the prior mechanical issues had been corrected. (transmissions and window lifts among them) I liked the sportier handling and better head room than my prior Lexus GS300 although the ride was not quite as smooth. After driving past 100,000 miles I sold it and bought a low-mileage 2004 S-Type V8 in 2016. The combination of sculptural design inside and out is arguably still one of the the best designs in the past 30 years in my opinion. All lines are graceful and organic. The biggest maintenance problems are plastic components in the cooling system that can crack and leak and eventually suspension bushings that leak fluid although the need to replace them is doubtful. Overall maintenance cost has been less than what you would expect from a BMW or Mercedes (..and all are cheaper if you are smart enough not to always listen to the dealer or repair shop). I loved the intake sound on the V6 when accelerating hard, the V8 doesn't work so hard but is faster of course. The transmission on the V6 was wonderfully silky smooth while the transmission on this particular V8 is not quite so smooth. I don't want to drive a truck or SUV but with the fold down rear seats the Jags have been my utility vehicles and served well. As road cars I love the Jags. They are quiet and smooth with comfortable seats and a nice stereo.

This is my 3rd s type 3.0 litre v6 se in the British racing Green and by far the best one I’ve ever owned. Stunning looking very comfortable silky smooth ride and effortless driving performance. 2005 year and over 100000 miles with jaguar full service history. A true classic that puts a smile on my face every day

Hi my name is bizzo. Just bought my Jag. It has 177klms on the clock. Got it cheap from an old fella in Cranbourne VIC Australia. It is a beautiful car, goes crazy fast and handles itself awesome in all conditions. I named her Millie after my amazing mum.

We purchased a mini-cooper for our daughter from Kirkpatrick Auto. Mr. Kirkpatrick was very kind and at no point did we feel taken advantage of. Several people have complained, but our experience was great! Our daughter loves the car and there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Our advice……buy the extended warranty if you have concerns. Remember…..it’s a USED vehicle.

I got my 2001 4 liter from my mom and have really enjoyed it. Silky smooth power with a great ride and beautiful styling. It resembles the classic mark2 and s-types from the 1960's

Smoothest ride I've ever owned. After owing a Porsche, and a BMW - I'd stick with the Jag. Handling is very smooth and agile. The 3.0 has plenty of get-up-and-go. It's really the best road car I've ever owned. Steering is spot on. Brakes are very smooth. Running mid-grade it's 23+ with local driving and 29+ over the road. Overall just a very nice luxury-sport car. And yes, I'll buy an S-Type again.

I own the 2005 jaguar S type 4.2V8 for 13 years. I drove it until it had 215,600, and it still drives like butter! I had to replace the water pump at 64k mile, radiator at 110k, timing chain, serpentine belt, and gasket at 125k. After that, it's been routine oil and brake changes. I recently retired it to my garage and I'm about to donate it to colleague at work, but I'm looking for another to buy now since I'm considering donating. Such an amazing vehicle that has done me well. I have no regrets irrespective, of the little challenges I had incurred, owning this vehicle. I could go through with it again.

My Jaguar is a 2003 S-Type V8 4.2. I must say the best running car ever made. However finding parts today is difficult ,it is running like a new Jag. I’ve been driving this car 20yrs looks brand new. Outshine any car in looks and ride.😄I’d sell to a collector now.

Great car and still turns heads. Mine is a 2001 and only has 74 k miles. The only problems I have had is engine locks up in drive so I drive it in sports mode. One headlight got stuck and had to be fixed.

Bought second hand, and would do it again if I could find! Very very few problems, I've owned for 6 years and I just hit 100k miles. Replacing things per manual and hope it runs as strong as before!

George was amazing, despite me calling after hours he answered and provided me all the information I asked for. On the day of, he checked in and made sure everything was right. This is a used/salvaged car lot, do not expect to find a clean car here, the cars will all need some for of work, the trade off is you will find amazing deals if your willing to put in the TLC.

This car has more than exceeded expectations. I came upon this car at a shop I was performing services for. To be fair, they elected toake it a part of my work package for the season. I nearly turned it down because it is Anthracite Mica in color. It's black and is very hot in summer sun noatter where you are. This is the S-Type Sport version and was originally purchased as a special order. I traced the history and it has spent most of it's time in Ohio. This beautiful cat came to me with 82,000 miles on it and now just turned over 100,000 after 2 years of ownership. It is a very amazing performer and has the CATS System and that makes it an astounding performer. Maintenance has been usual and very normal. I have studied the Jaguar history and many models extensively and know lots of answers to most questions posed by owners. There are quirks and a temperament that comes with owning Jaguar Automobiles. A sound bank account is a good start. My studies have created a solid knowledge along with the dealer relationship I developed with Kempthorn Motors of Canton and Green, Ohio. After 20 years things are starting to show up and need repairs. There are minor rust issues on some body parts and the headliner is scheduled for replacement in October by a custom interior shop locally. The wheels will need refinished so they return to their former glory. They aren't terrible, just need kept in top shape. There are some subframe bushings and bolts getting replaced on the rear. The passenger window regulator needs replaced, temperature sensors and perhaps system needs replaced. I will be also doing a water pump as a preventative maintenance procedure prior to failure now. A little attention needs paid to the leather on the driver's seat due to wear. I am willing to put the finances into this vehicle as this is the finest car I have ever owned. Nothing rides or performs like Jaguar. I did my homework and studied this model extensively. Jaguar is more than a car or just another vehicle. It is an animal all its own. I am purchasing a other Jaguar and will likely be the XJ8 or XJR. My Jags will get covered and mostly stored for winter and my diesel Ford Truck will be driven. These cars deserve careful consideration and treatment. Nothing lasts forever. All Jags need maintenance. At 20, no complaints here. All vehicles of age require certain forms of expensive maintenance and upkeep. I am a sponsored semi-pro athlete and bicyclist and the S-Type is my bicycle transporter of choice. It gets looks when I drive up and the bicycle comes out for the events I participate in. It is US Air Force Cycling Team Veteran owned and Jaguar also built a military SEPECAT Jaguar and is still in use today.

My 2008 S-Type Jaguar is far and away the best car I have owned over the past 50 years. A beautiful build, plenty of power, loads of amenities and problem free.....drives like a Jaguar! Best part is that it looks like a classic Jaguar and I get high /waves where ever we drive. Like driving a show car. Never any issues at all!

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot in 2016 and 2010 Chevrolet Suburban in 2024. Both transactions went well. Honest and easy to deal with. They were very upfront on the defects on the vehicles.

This car is a luxury sedan but is quick like a sports car with 235 horse power and the same transmission as a Land Rover the car is very fast heat and air conditioning is fine,tires are new I don’t use it in the snow or rain no rust.
