2004 Jaguar XJ8 review
A good friend talked me into buying the XJ8 and I am so glad he did. It has been the best car by far that I have owned. A lot of people were surprised that a Jag could be so incredibly reliable, but it has been. Unlike some others, the front air suspension only caused me minor issues, and now it seems the the little O rings are doing their job and I don't have problems, even in a Canadian winter. At first I kept it in the garage in winter, but started thinking that the electronics were going to age whether I drove it or not, so I bought winter wheels and tires for it and used it year round, although I tried to avoid winter storms. I still get compliments on the car, but the best one was some years ago when I pulled into a driveway and two boys around tens years old told me how great the car looked. It is always a pleasure to drive. We are down to one vehicle now as we are retired, and I don't want to leave a vehicle out of the garage and in year round weather. The radio is a little suspect, picking up static too often, but that is a very minor concern. Everything else has worked incredibly well, even after 20 years! We need an SUV to meet more of our transportation needs, but I just can't get to the point of letting the Jag go and getting something more practical. Ford did a great job redesigning the XJ8. I think they made it more jaguar-like, and less leopard-like with the more substantial looking body. It is too bad that the sales weren't high enough for them to keep the brand.

I got a good car for a fair price. They really stand behind their vehicles and even went above and beyond for me when my warranty company let me down on one occasion. They'll be the first place I look when it's time to shop for my next used car.
2001 Jaguar XJ8 review
I bought a 2004 XJ8 after my XJ6 was flooded in Harvey and I absolutely love it. It is truly a long distance traveling car with all the bells and whistles of a luxury car. One of my friends ask why I didn't buy a new Nissan instead. My answer was "Why would I do something stupid like that."

BMW of West Houston review
I recently purchased a 2024 BMW X7 from the new BMW of West Houston location, and the entire experience was world-class. From the moment I walked into their impressive new facility, I knew I was in the right place. A huge thank you to my Client Specialist, Tommy Luk. Tommy is professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process seamless. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and ensured that the delivery of my X7 was perfect. It is clear that he truly cares about his clients and the BMW brand. If you are looking for a new BMW or a high-quality Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, I highly recommend visiting this new location and asking for Tommy Luk. You won’t be disappointed. Five stars all the way!
2009 Jaguar XJ8 review
Quick, quiet and smooth as glass. All aluminum body and 26 mpg on a rear wheel drive chassis. Ford's ownership of Jaguar-LandRover from mid 90's until 2010 put the quality into the brand. Reliability is excellent; do keep some cash reserve for when air ride suspension wears out, which eventually it will. That is "ok" as the ride of this sedan has no equal.

2000 Jaguar XJ8 review
well I just bought this Jaguar from a family owns a gas station I really did think about if I could or can afford a high in car but I always want a Jaguar xj8 it has 130,000 miles it's clean and they went out bought a newer one so instead of pooping off 2400 bucks I took the gamble and bought a classic to me and I have a kia for my 2nd car but I did hear a little clug when I drove around the corner and it seems to have one when you take off possible the transmission but I went back to ask where the dip stick was and unfortunately the this model is seal and I like to have the fluids changed otherwise it runs great 2400 not bad considering you can't buy anything for that now days and it's clean I think of as a investment any suggestions on what the real value might be ? and the tires and Jaguar emblem must be worth that it's my Christmas gift and it goes with my new housing in which I have a 2500 a month apartment brand new building of only 297 bucks is my rent before that my siblings rip off and abusive x I lived in the streets frezzing and had it hard for the last 15 years so I deserve it and it's a beautiful car like a Buick with prestige I seen a 98 and it's going for 7,800 so mine is 2000 I think it was good choice and blessings I pr@y cause some people would of blown that in a casino .

Love them XJ8. Had 3. All killed in accidents. I had no injuries. Beauty, always admired by others. Smooth ride and steering. Good mileage. Great sign system. Air suspension had to be replaced always. Had 1 2005 XJR, too fast for American Roads. You’ll hit 100 before you know it. I know it $250 ticket.

2000 Jaguar XJ8 review
There’s just something about it when you sit down and the leather seats adjust to your settings. I bought my 2000 Vanden Plas about a year and a half ago at 150k miles. After putting on 29k miles I am still in love with this car. The car is fast, but it’s so nice that you feel comfortable just enjoying a slow ride. Don’t be afraid of this car. I have made small repairs, alternator, plugs and coils, radiator, battery…. but nothing major. And with the availability of used OEM parts from national salvage networks and the support of the Jaguar community on the forums this car is an exceptional value at about 3k if you can find one. I’m buying a 2001 XJ this week…just a wonderful driving experience.

These guys know how to run a used car lot. Their cars are immaculate well maintained mechanically a pleasure to look at a pleasure to drive. I visited a dozen different car lot in the mobile area. The majority of the cars were junk. They might look good on the outside, but it looks like a family a homeless people had been living on the inside for years. These gentlemen understand what people are looking for and work with you to find the right financing and the right vehicle. They also had a great warranty program that I added to my purchase gives me great peace of mind. I bought a 2020 Jeep gladiator that was under blue book and in great mechanical and physical shape. I’d buy another car from these guys in a heartbeat well done gentlemen.

CarboardReviews
Carboard review
We purchased a 2016 Volvo V60xc with 96k miles on it back in late June of this year. I gotta say, I was a bit nervous buying a used car from a small dealership but Leno and his team were immediately friendly and accommodating. We were looking for this specific model and year of Volvo and felt comfortable with the mileage as this was a local one owner car. Leno provided us with a CarFax report and gave us opportunity to do two test drives. We were already approved for financing with our own bank but we decided to let Leno shop financing and sure enough he beat our bank’s rate by almost a full percentage point with another well known local credit union. The buying experience was super easy and relaxing. We took the car home on a Saturday and all was well for the short drive home. Sunday we took a drive that was our first real test of the car. Much longer than our two test drives that only included a short stretch of freeway from the dealership up one exit to Wadsworth and back. To our horror after a bit of freeway driving we noticed a strange vibration that wasn’t present on the test drives. When we got home I emailed Leno and informed him of the issue. He responded quickly on Monday and asked me to bring the car to their repair shop to have it looked at. I did some research in the meantime and discovered that it was likely a failed U-joint on the driveshaft which only became obvious as the vehicle heated up on a longer drive. My local Volvo mechanic also suggested that as the cause. Sure enough Leon’s technician verified that it was in fact a failed driveshaft. After the diagnosis and to my absolute delight, Leno called to say that he and the owner of the dealership would like to replace the driveshaft at no cost to us. Literally a day and a half later the car was back in our hands driving as good as new. We’re now over a month into owning this car with absolutely no issues since the driveshaft repair. I can’t thank Leno enough. Buying any used car comes with risk, but thanks to Leno and the Carboard team we had a fantastic experience. Thanks again Carboard!

2006 Jaguar XJ8 review
Everything you have heard about Jaguar reliability is null and void with the X350 generation XJ8. Other than them being a little finicky with certain things (Simple sensors that can make it seem like the car is having huge problems - Usually a bad battery or voltage regulator and the cooling system bits and air suspension), they are fantastic cars! I have always loved the body style but would never buy one due to reliability (Coming from Lexus this was a HUGE concern for me.) My 2006 XJ8 L currently has 163K miles and runs fantastic. Almost all of the previous problems that plagued these cars was fixed in 2004 with a massive amount of updates to this model. At 6'1" it is hard for me to find a vehicle with a comfortable driver seat but this one is perfect! Far better than the one in my 2006 Lexus LS430. Used XJ8's 2004-2006 can be had for pennies on the dollar these days and are such a massive value. Some folks have 250-300K miles on theirs with original drivetrain. If the price is right, I would not hesitate to buy one with high mileage. Just make sure it has been cared for. If you're considering getting into an XJ, 2004-2009 were great but the 2004-2006 has the best classic design in my opinion.

Now own for almost 14 years. and we're keeping her. still the head turner. still handles like a sports car. there's nothing else on the road that calls me. PS my other vehicle is an infiniti 2017 QX80. so... i've got as nice an SUV as there is. if i were to trade i would buy a loaded 2019 XJ8L, the last year of production (the 07 is more classic Jag look).

2002 Jaguar XJ8 review
I bought XJ8VDP in 2004 at 23,000 miles. I still own it in 2024 with 192000+ miles. Chain tensioners failed but after repairs, the motor has never failed. Burns no oil, leaks nothing. The coach is still the most beautiful design ever, timeless. Fit and finish in the interior remains perfect. I had to replace the headliner and front seat skins. The rear doorlock actuators also failed but these things can't go forever. A little fiddling and it's perfect, again. It's really my favorite car .. others are 2014 Porsche, 1996 Dodge Viper, 1959 Jaguar XK150. THIS ONE (and the 59) turns heads at gas stations every time.

2004 Jaguar XJ8 review
Initially I was a little apprehensive, the thought being that the car was too big. Previous car being the S series jag and all. But after about a month. The car felt more personal and one thing I highly recommend is RTM (read the Manual) it is extremely well worth its weight. Secondly I would recommend getting a blue tooth receiver for you cigarette lighter. Tune it in to an unused radio station and pair it up with your smartphone this makes communications with you music and phone activity. Interior, depending on the condition of yours you may want to cover. My interior was in exceptional condition an I decided to get a cover for all seats. Thinking resale value. Exterior, get a bra, they don’t make the vinyl bras any more but rather a clear plastic shield for the front bumper and hood make sure it includes the rear view mirrors. It’s expensive but worth it. All in all the car drives like a dream and notably different based on the tires. I personally recently purchased the all weather continentals for which I am happy with. 90mph on the I5 couldn’t be smoother. (When Safe) at 130,00 miles I have had little to no issues. And couldn’t be happier.
