Vehicle delivered by salesperson on their day off!

I have bought many cars - new and used - but this was a first. I live in Connecticut, but there were only two Jeep WranglerJK's outfitted that way I wanted in all of New England, and so reluctantly, I purchased the one from Kelly Jeep Chrysler - about a two hour drive from where I live. Initially frustrated by our inability to have the vehicle transferred to a Connecticut dealership for purchase "in-state", my opinion began to change first in working from a distance with Kelley Kelly, the Sales Manager, who could not have been more personable and flexible, and was then confirmed upon meeting Janet Gadsby - the sales person who I worked with on my visit to sign the papers. Due to the out of state registration process and regulations - Janet had to drive the car to a Motor Vehicle Department in Connecticut to meet me for the final transfer of ownership where I would register the new vehicle. After having to cancel the trip due to winter weather, then struggling to find a time when we were both available - we had tentatively agreed to a Friday delivery (about a week and a half AFTER I signed all of the paperwork in Massachusetts). Sadly - at the last minute, I needed to attend the funeral services for a friend's passing on that Friday. Janet was AMAZING - even though that Thursday was her day off, it was the only other day that week that I was available. I would have pushed the delivery date even further out into the future, but Janet insisted on working around MY schedule - driving the vehicle two hours to the Motor Vehicle Department, waiting for easily another two hours in the Department's interminable lines, and then rented a car to drive all of the way back to MA. Who provides service like that in this day and age? We all understand the narrow profit margins on new car sales and that dealer profit is made in the service department - I live two hours away and Kelly Jeep certainly knows that I will not be getting regular service there - yet they, particularly Janet, went above and beyond to serve their customer in a way that is a standard for others to emulate. Through this experience - I not only got a new car, but I built new lasting friendships. Thank you Janet - and you too Kelley!
