Used 2024 Jeep Wrangler for sale near Lackland AFB, TX

I found this used vehicle on Cars.com, scheduled a test drive with Jeff Cartwright, who was kind, thoughtful, thorough and patient. He even cooled the vehicle down before we drove it. Communication through the entire process was clear and timely, but never rushed or pushy. They truly made sure all of my questions were answered, I was getting the best deal possible, and no time was wasted. The vehicle is Beautiful and I could not be happier.

2024 refresh Willy’s edition 2 door soft top , love the refresh, most notably the radio 12.3” upgrade, I’ve owned 5 wranglers in the past starting with the 1988 model , prior to the 2024 I had a 2 door 2011 . Well built , great driving on an off road , amazed at the little turbo motor, smooth, great acceleration and gas mileage, around 20/21 in winter and 23/24 in summer , which I think is great considering the size , shape and 33” tires etc. overall super happy with my jeep , for me the refreshed Willy’s edition is the sweet spot in the line up

5 Stars – A Truly Exceptional Experience. I had been searching across Texas for weeks, looking for a specific Yukon in a certain trim that was clearly in high demand—only ten or so were available statewide. Most dealers I contacted were either marking up the price well over MSRP and/or adding thousands in unnecessary extras. Then I came across the exact model and trim I wanted on GMC’s website, which showed it was in transit to Cavender GMC West. From there, the experience couldn’t have been smoother. I quickly found the vehicle on Cavender’s website and submitted an online price request. I got an instant response—and to my surprise (and Cavender's credit), they were offering the vehicle below MSRP with no dealer add-ons. A few minutes later, I received a call from Brandon Guzman. He confirmed the price without hesitation. No games, no changes—just total transparency. I asked if I could put down a deposit to hold the vehicle, and Brandon made it happen that evening. Over the next ten days, while I waited for it to arrive, Brandon stayed in touch. As soon as it landed, he called to let me know it would be ready the next day. I drove down from Austin to San Antonio, and when I arrived, the vehicle was freshly detailed, fully gassed up, and waiting for me to take it home. The paperwork took less than 40 minutes. No upselling. No pressure. Just a smooth, easy transaction. Brandon took the time to walk me through all the vehicle’s features and answered every question I had. I was back on the road within an hour and twenty minutes. He even texted me the next day just to check in, make sure everything went well on the drive back, and confirm that I had everything set up the way I wanted. I’ve purchased nine vehicles from seven different dealerships in my lifetime—this was easily one of the best buying experiences I’ve had. I had 2 (2018 and 2022) Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawks and I liked them both. They were loaded with technology, safety and off road features. Very off road capable. I just bought my first Wrangler X and I love it. So far the best car I've ever owned. I was worried about the mpd with the 3.6l engine but I'm getting 16.3 mpg in the city driving only which is pretty good. I still have to test it on a highway. Comfortable on the road and off road. It's surprisingly quiet.

I recently visited Cavender Ford Dealership in search of a new truck. Living in Galveston, TX, I had done a lot of research on the best deals in Houston and nearby cities, and I quickly realized that no one offers deals quite like Cavender. They not only beat the competition on the price of a new truck by a significant margin but also gave me a fair trade-in value for my vehicle. Overall, my experience was somewhat mixed. On the positive side, if you’re looking for an unbeatable deal on a truck, this is definitely the place to go. The sales team, especially Michael McClinton, Noe Aguilera, and JR Ortega, worked closely with me and were instrumental in helping me secure the beautiful truck I had my eye on. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making me feel like they were genuinely trying to get me the best truck for the best price. Their approach was knowledgeable, friendly, and refreshingly low-pressure, making the entire buying process smooth. However, the dealership fell short when it came to management and after-sales service. Unfortunately, the management team did not uphold the same level of customer service as the sales staff. I encountered a few issues after the purchase, and their response was much less helpful and timely than I had anticipated. It felt like their interest in assisting me dropped off significantly once the sale was complete. Some promises made during the sale weren’t fully honored afterward, which was disappointing. After taking delivery of the truck and returning home, I noticed one of the hubcaps was missing. I contacted the dealership the next morning and provided a photo I had taken while at their location to prove that the hubcap was already missing before I left. Although the sales team was eager to assist, they were unable to get any answers from upper management. Fortunately, I had the picture as proof, so it should have been easy for them to send me a replacement. However, it took nearly a month of countless phone calls, text messages, and even speaking with a manager named Manny, who rushed through our conversation and falsely promised to overnight the missing part, before I finally received it. I bought a brand-new truck, but after noticing the missing part, it felt like I was driving an old truck, and it took away the excitement of having a new vehicle. Management or ownership didn’t acknowledge the issue as significant, nor did they make any effort to address it. They didn’t offer an apology or attempt to make up for the disappointment I felt about losing the excitement of my new truck. In summary, Cavender Ford is an excellent choice if you're after a great deal and a positive buying experience. However, be cautious about after-sales support, management and ownership and make sure to get everything in writing before leaving the dealership, as their management and ownership could definitely improve in this area.

This is the third Jeep Wrangler I've owned. The first was a 2012 and the second a 2021. Jeep has stayed true to the formula but the additional refinement in the 2024 Rubicon X is welcomed since we use it as a commuter vehicle. Looks are total bad-xxx but it's much more refined than previous years. The leather interior is beautiful, it's a little quieter, and the creature comforts like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and heated seats/steering wheel are great to have. I'd recommend the V6 engine. The 2.0L 4 cylinder is underpowered and noisy. I can't speak for the 4xe version. Unfortunately, the price of these Jeeps has skyrocketed in recent years. I'm guessing it's due to the demand. Bottom line: there's nothing not to like about this Jeep. Simple to operate (you don't need a training class for the infotainment system) and so many options to personalize it to make it your own.

Great service form sales finance and delivery of vehicle. Trade old Land Rover was fair and drove new Land Rover home that afternoon.

This is my 4th Jeep and the quality continues to improve. My dealer experience was great despite the UAW strike as the dealer put me on a Jeep Order Tracking site where there were continuous updates on production progress. On the same page was a Jeep Forum that provided additional info as to production. Great experience in total!

Went to look at said 2019 chevy but saw a different one that caught my eye purchased. 2020 chevy Silverado 2500 for very affordable price. Very professional sales man Dylan Delgado very professional and helpful and willing to go extra mike for you will recommend!!

"Just Explore Every Path is for Wrangler / Gladiator owners. Hands down a terrific off road vehicle which is slowly gaining on surface road comfort and handling. The interior is getting much better and the large user screen is awesome. Total bluetooth connect helps with the new larger screen. If you're a 1st time wrangler buyer and you hate the ride... give it time, or head off road. Jeeps love dirt, sand, and snow. If your a former or current jeep owner and you hate the ride... suck it up. You knew the ride history. That being said.. our 24 Wrangler is far better than any previous model before it. We've owned at least one new Wrangler every year since 2008. I believe I can talk openly about the millennial generation of the Wrangler. From a Sport to Sahara, Willy's to a Rubicon to the 4xE, to our 392. This 2024 Wrangler is by far Jeeps best effort... Still hate where the window switches are located. Wish Jeep would give a 5.7 L option, or smaller V8. A/C is improved, Lighting is very good at night, adaptive cruise works great. As for powertrain.. the 392 is awesome and sounds menacing, 2.0L turbocharged PHEV 4xe Not so great in real world highway over 40mph. The 2.0L turbocharged I4, the gutty little 4 that has some go power, but gas is still not great. 3.6L V6, a preffered all around option. and then the 6.4L V8... Who cares about fuel mileage, open the gates, then listen and feel the thunder.

My experience was surprisingly really good. Matthew Coleman my sales representative was attentive, personable, patient, friendly and a pretty good multitasker. Speaking with and negotiating with David the finance guy was stressful but (those situations usually are) he did his best to explain and settle any concerns. I’m very pleased with the vehicle I finally chose and I got it at a price pretty good price.
