Great customer service, comprehensive, kind, great atmosphere, sales man was very friendly I highly recommend Juan Jacobo as your sales man. I???ve been there plenty of times and I wish he could have been the only sales person we have worked with.

My husband and I had been looking online for a good used car for several weeks. All the places we went tried to push us into buying a more expensive car than we were in the market for, because of how much we "qualified" for.
Until we visited Ricky and Dave at the Hertz Scottsdale location. We arrived at around 3:00 pm, the car we saw online was the car I test drove, and it was the price I was looking to pay. No hidden gimmicks or fast talking. We were driving our 2016 Hyundai Elantra home by 6:15 pm! Very happy with this place and will be back again.
Took my car in for schedule 1 service which included an oil change. I bought the car used from this dealership and it had a blend for the oil at that time. About 20K miles ago I switched to full synthetic and when I dropped the car off I wrote in my instructions please use synthetic oil for the oil change. Instead of the synthetic or even a blend, regular oil was used. They offered to change it out but because of time I declined. This is the 1st time any of my instructions were not followed. I have always had 1st class service from this dealership.
There's no arguing here on price. I'm not crazy about that, how ever the other 4 dealerships will only give you a deal if you finance the car. Hertz does not require you to finance. Brian Cruz was the person I dealt with and was Great. Things were a bit hectic because it was the 3rd of July and only 2 people scheduled to work! The car came with a warranty that backed up their claim it was a well tested vehicle.
I am normally very skeptical of buying from dealers because of all the GOTCHAS that are thrown at you. It was a relief that I was able to take a look at several cars I was interested in and then buy it without having to spend hours in the run around to sign paperwork. The only point of improvement i have to mention is that because the prices of the cars are set by Corporate, if there are blemishes on vehicles on the lot, you can't negotiate a discount. But the staff was more than happy to take care of scratches on the car for me. The service was great and I wasn't presented with high pressure sales tactics for stupid crap like vin etching, clearcoat paint protection, blah blah blah. Their financing dept gave me an excellent rate without the usual run around I get at other dealerships. Overall a great experience.
I visited this Cars review page before buying so I thought I would give back... I was certainly impressed by the 5 star recommendations give here... During my experience with Hertz Sales I could certainly see some of the high points stated (no pressure sale, great price etc) but also some very disappointing happenings! When I purchased my mini van I was promised a detail to take care of the shabby appearance of the van. We ended up making 3 separate appointments where I came in (30 miles from home) to get the detail; twice being turned away because of scheduling errors. While they were always very apologetic and helpful it was still very frustrating. I guess you can't really complain considering that the price was so good with on the vehicle (I know I researched it!!!) However, it did leave a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth... I finally got the detail a couple months after the purchase...
John saw we were disappointed that we came an hour late and missed buying the car we had our hearts set on. He stopped what he was doing and tracked down another car in a different color. When we didn't like the color the GM came out (I assume because John was busy) and showed us the car in the model a year younger. We liked it except it didn't have bluetooth. So the GM ran in and got his own cord to see if it was compatible with his phone and the car and it was. So above and beyond what he had to do. John cane back after he was done with another customer to check on us. He gave us referrals to companies that could add tinting to the car and a spare key for an affordable price. We never felt pushed or taken advantage of. I will definitely go to John when I trade in my other car.
Mark and Dale made the whole process quick, and it definitely didn't feel like I was at a dealership. They were a pleasure to work with and I will definitely look at Hertz first for my next car purchase. Do yourself a favor and drop by if you're in the market for a new ride. And make sure to ask Mark why the GT-H out front is an automatic and not a manual lol.
Best buying experience I have ever had. Dan and Rick were great. I did the rent to buy 3 day program. It was ready,clean and full of gas as promised. We then went to the sales location. Price was great as posted online. I did have a trade so that can always be a stumbling block, but Rick checked out my vehicle, printed tons of trade value information and gave us what I wanted to make the deal. Paperwork, which can usually take hours took less than 1 1/2 hours. We arrived a bit after 9 and were done and driving off by 11. Great experience. Will definitely tell everyone I know. Thanks again. I wish I could give this dealership 10 stars. Anyone that has ever purchased a vehicle from a dealership knows the nightmare it can be. The long grueling hours, the back and forth negotiations not to mention hit after hit on your credit. I've been there many times in my life and hated every minute. But that was NOT the case here. This was absolutely the BEST car buying experience ever!!!! I never even had to go to the dealership. We managed the whole deal over the website and phone, during my lunch break. I told them the terms I was hoping to get (not really expecting to get them), and within less then an hour it was done! Then as if that wasn't already awesome, they brought the car and the paperwork to me and within 20 minutes, BAM, DONE! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these guys! Major kudos to Tyler, he rocks!

I had a wonderful all-around experience at the 99th avenue Carmax in Tolleson. The staff were very cheerful, respectful, and professional, especially my salesperson, Gabby. I found the best car for me. This Carmax is very organised and stress-free. I would highly recommend anyone shopping for a vehicle to visit Carmax.
