I was in the market for two vehicles. One for me and one for my daughter. I knew what I wanted for myself. I had very detailed requirements and Basic found me exactly what I wanted without the pressure of buying something that was not a perfect fit. They emphasized making sure that we selected the vehicle that I wanted and not to just settle on something. I valued that honest approach and it made me feel really comfortable right from the start without any of the pressures that come from buying a car. Basic Auto Sales was patient with gathering my specific requirements and matched them up to just the right vehicle for me which was a beautiful Nissan Murano. They even provided me a copy of the carfax report that showed the service history of the vehicle. I could see that the car was well maintained buy the prior owner and that it was never in an accident which was important to me. As for my second car for my daughter it had to be "cool" in my daughters eyes and in my book a good value for the dollar. We found a white Jeep Patriot that my daughter fell in love with right on the lot among their broad inventory and it fit my budget also. I am a big stickler on safety and I noticed that a couple of the tires were getting lower on tread so I asked them if they would put on new tires and through negotiation they included two new tires in the deal. Come to find out they have a full service mechanic shop as part of the dealership that I could use in the future for any repairs or oil changes. This made it very convenient having a one stop shop that knew what they were doing but also had the resources to meet my new tire request in a timely fashion. One of my expectations that I explained to my Sales Person Joe Duval was that I did not want to spend all day at the dealership once I was ready to purchase. I wanted to be in and out. Joe made sure that he planned in advance as much of the paperwork that was required to purchase the vehicle so that I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time come the day of purchase of my two cars. I appreciated his due diligence and being prepared not only with the Vehicles but also the car buying experience. Joe returned all of my text and calls on the spot when I had questions and if he did not know the answer he found the answers to my questions. I am not an easy person to sell to because I have been in sales all my life so when I come across a person that sells in a consultitive and professional manner I like to make sure other people know about it which is why I am even taking the time to write this review. I would recommend Basic Auto Sales to my friends and family after this experience. Well done Basic Auto Sales!

Gillian is very professional and personable to deal with via email and over the phone. Cindy on the other hand came off very abrupt and if she didn???t listen/understand a thing from email/conversation; such as that I do not have my cell phone during the day and then getting daily text messages about giving her a call right back and / or coming by the dealership for appointment (in very first email explained I lived 140 miles away. I was disappointed that the day I scheduled appointment the vehicle was still on lift and keys not immediately available for test drive as I was told all would be...since I called around 10 am, scheduled for 445pm and they knew drive was at least 2 1/2 hrs. Sales manager rude and arrogant throughout process, initially when Josh explained situation his excuse for not pulling keys was I???ve been too busy; then, at close of deal he obviously knew I???ve driven a long way so just quickly and condescendingly shot down any discussion of negotiations. I understand you???re policies but if you advertise guaranteed price match and then when I mentioned Lustine Jeep he just undermined their practices and mentioned a lot of fine print with their offers. I assure you if I had dealt with him any time earlier in the process I would have shopped somewhere else. In this case the only other dealer with a manual Rubicon Recon in the SE was Lustine and he knew it was late on Saturday (never would have made it before close) and I wanted to get back home. Honestly I???m typically great with names but wanted to forget his as soon as I learned it. All my years of supervisory roles and management assure me this man is quick to assume credit for other???s hard work and throw others under the bus to steer attention away from himself. Josh on the other hand is truly one of a kind. He treated myself, and a family friend both professionally and courteously. He was willing to do whatever was necessary to make us go away with a mostly positive experience. I truly appreciate his knowledge and expertise with the vehicle and his dedication and patience. Even though it was 8 pm by the time we finished with paperwork, he made us feel like there was no one he would rather be with (except maybe his daughter...but that???s admirable) and acted like there was no other place he would rather be. Good luck to him, expect he will keep customers coming back to you.

I stopped by Peasons Honda to take a look at the new Civic Hatchback. Several staff took the time to check on me and offer their help. However, one of the Salesman, I believe his name was Ajani, went above and beyond to explain the new Honda Civic, its uniqueness, space, quality, fuel efficiency and potential resale value. He answered all my questions. I was just browsing for fuel efficient options, but, Mr. Kingslow was so supportive and professional, I almost bought a new civic. In other words, I was very impressed. As a result, I will tell all my friends and government colleagues to go see Ajani Kingslow, as he knows the cars well and can work with them to get the best deal on a Honda product.

Was a devotee to Ford. Owned 4 heavy duty trucks in last 15 years. Last one was traded for the 6.4L 2500 crew. This truck kicks. Towing a 5th wheel and boat combo no complaints. Plenty of power and handling is surprising. In the good way. Even my wife loves this truck, she wasn't happy with the others. Lumberwagons is what she called them. Enjoys driving even with the 5er and boat behind. Fuel mileage has been 14.8 combined city highway. Towing 9 to 11.9 depending on grade, wind, etc. 4x4 handles off road great.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.
