2017 Outback 3.6R purchase -- TWO THUMBS UP

Being previous Outback owners, the Mrs. & I were in the market for a new one...what, with 0% financing available & all the latest gadgetry on the 2017's! I had done all the necessary research, had all the data on a spreadsheet, & called all over the Pacific Northwest looking for the one we wanted. Cars.com listed one available at Subaru of Puyallup. So, there we went. Turns out, the car was gone.
After stopping by Subaru of Puyallup about 15min before closing on a weekend... we were certain we wanted the 3.6R, and certain of color & interior...& all the options we wanted. The car was not available anywhere in the state. Justin Peoples took our contact info & called back within 48 hours to let us know when they'd have one. Turns out, the ONLY one available within a month was headed to another dealer. He assured us, however, that they could get the car by doing a dealer trade. I asked if they needed a deposit, to which Justin's response was "No".
We were told it would be roughly two weeks before the car would be in...with the projected date. Turns out, the car was 2 days early...& Justin made sure the car was detailed & ready for us to pick up. Still, no deposit required. Wife and I dropped in on a Monday around 3:30pm...AFTER Justin had already worked a full day...to see the car & we were over the moon. The 2017 3.6R in white is absolutely stunning. Wife had an important meeting at 6pm, so we were a bit rushed. Justin, the New Car Sales Manager & the finance guy had us out of there by 5:30pm. We only needed one extra accessory...which we got for the price we wanted.
I've purchased a few new cars and several used cars in the past. My experience with purchasing a new car at Subaru of Puyallup went just the way a new car purchase should go: ZERO STRESS, no haggling, & feeling completely relaxed. Justin Peoples is very professional, likable, with great communication skills. We shared a few jokes during our time with him.
