Used Subaru Forester for sale near Langeloth, PA under $25,000

Staff is very nice, building is clean, staff is professional. I’ve never had an issue with getting service here until this time . If you know there is going to be a wait time if over 2 hours for an oil change Please inform the customer. If I was told when I dropped my car off that I’d have to be there for two hours or more. I would’ve said I’ll come back. I did not like waiting 2 1/2 hours. I understand that the places get busy someone could’ve called off could’ve been a staff issue just tell the customer we deserve to know that and we deserve to make a decision whether we want to stay and wait or whether we wanna bring our car back

The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

Gregg was EXCEPTIONAL! We didnt know him prior to arriving at the dealership but as soon as we met him he made us comfortable and like we were old friends. He is very personable and non-pushy which is why we moved forward with our purchase. we are going to be referring allot of friends to him due to our experience.

I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. I ended up getting a 2019 subaru forester. Lots of room and a perfect vehicle into the middle of my adult life. I hope this car lasts me through the next few years. The service staff are very kind and helpful. I cannot say anything about the sales side of things, because I have not used them. I have had problems with my car, and ended up needing a new engine (which Hyundai provided). The service staff were helpful at that time. This visit was simply for an oil change. They were kind and friendly to myself, and to everyone who walked through the door.

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

I have owned my 2017 Forester since late 2016. Except for normal maintenance I've had no problems with thr vehicle. All of the warning systems work very well,they have saved me from accidents numerous times. The automatic seat repositioning when some one else has used my is really handy eliminates all the adjusting needed to get the position back to my needs. Traction and controll during winter and bad weather are excellent. My forrester get used like a truck at times. Great overall car.

BEST SALES EXPIERENCE EVER! I have purchased and leased many cars, but this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The salesperson knew every answer to the questions I had. Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

I’ve driven the Forester before and have been wanting one for two years. So now that it was time for me to give up my 2010 Legacy with 222,000 miles on it, I chose the Forester. The dealer is very customer friendly and very competitive in their pricing, even though I paid 25K plus for a four year old car…vestiges of the used car pandemic pricing. The car drives beautifully, smooth and quiet. I am very happy with my purchase.

Mark and Justin were Amazing to work with! I don't have the best credit and I was looking to get a new car and trade in my old car. I stumbled across their website and inquired about a car they had. The next morning I was on the phone with both Justin and Mark and I was approved for the car. The process was super quick and easy. I was impressed how well I can see out of the car at all angles. It is difficult for me to turn my body due to neck, hip and back problems. I am 5'10" and have very long legs. This car also has alot of head and leg room. My daughter rides comfortably in her booster seat in the middle seat. I feel I have more control and better handling with this car then any other. I have had a Honda Accord, Volvo XC90, Toyota Corolla and Cadillac Deville in recent years. My only complaint is the front seats are uncomfortable. (My other car is a Deville which feels like a recliner.) There isn't anything fancy about the car but I just have the base model. I am happy with all the features and the gas mileage is awesome. There is a ton on truck space.

I’m the 3rd owner of a 2012 Subaru Forester purchased at approx 175,000 miles and it still runs pretty good! It does burn oil up pretty quickly and mine has issues with reading the levels and won’t give me a warning light so i check the dip stick often. Mine did have exhaust issues and had to replace a rested out piping from the cat back, but mufflers were still good. Also the Oxygen sensor was a problem for awhile, which you can only use on brand for it to work properly. Gas mileage is decent for the size of the vehicle and its age. Only wish the front seats went back more bc my taller girlfriend who is 5’11 with long legs struggles to fit and be comfortable in the passenger seat.

I have never enjoyed buying a car prior to shopping at Star Lake Ford. The price on the Mustang I was looking at was already listed on True Car as a great deal, priced almost $3,000.00 below current market average. Of course, everything was contingent on the price they would offer for my trade in. They offered $1,300 more than I had hoped for! I bought the car, the salesman, Ken, did a great job showing me all the awesome features on my 2016 Ford Mustang. I really believe I got an excellent deal, I would highly recommend this dealership!

Love my 2018 limited Forester , Great as you the very comfortable love how it drives good gas mileage so far.. highly recommend this car great for transporting kids also… Very quiet driving experience

I had an appointment for my first oil change and tire rotation for my kicks I bought back in '21. ( I don't drive much) I was shopping with my sister and lost track of the time. Had this car for seven years, never any problems, very low mileage. Very nice to drive, smooth gas mileage around 30 mpg. Traded it in for a new forester, I actually was ready to cry, when I left it. Very reliable.

I've had three other Subarus and this one is my favorite. One of the best parts about this car is how spacious it feels inside. The tall roof combined with the panoramic sunroof bring the outside in and make for a happy drive. It also has the famous Subaru boxer engine and AWD. Road noise is a bit louder than competitors, but that's ok to me because it makes the ride more fun. Also like the Eyesight suite of safety features. It adds a level of confidence to my commute. It also holds a lot of cargo when it needs to do it.

I just bought a new Frontier from West Hills Nissan. Second one I've bought from them. Steven Fay was fantastic to work with. I had a couple specific requirements and he worked hard to find the right truck for me. Never pressured me to buy something that wasn't what I wanted. He was very thorough going over all features and operations of the truck. Highly recommend him. Alan in finance was just as great!

My 2020 Forester does everything I ask it to, very effective and efficiently. I've owned over 100 vehicles in my life time and this one is with my top favorites. Good value, safe, economical, reliable, dependable, and over all quality is top notch. I am very pleased with this decision.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation. Didn't have to wait long and car was done and washed. My service Rep. Jim Pratte was great to deal with. Mr Pratte is a real asset to this dealership.

At 78 we had a hard time getting in and out of my Acura TLX. This vehicle is so much better for my wife and myself. Vehicle has more interior space, rides smoother, more safety features, better gas mileage, etc. Only time will tell if it is as reliable. Had the car now for 2 months.

Every time I take my vehicle to #1 Cochran to get it serviced I am amazed at the professionalism and the genuine Customer Care. Every service is explained and the wait time is minimal. I purchased my vehicle at the West Liberty Ave location and each time upon exiting the facility my vehicle is washed. Kudos to # 1 Cochran

Always treated like the most important customer. Two inspections ago, I couldn’t locate my owners card. The gentleman helping me took the time and located a copy on line for me. I was frantic but he told me not to worry that he would take care of it and he did.

2018 forester 105000 miles it's smooth, quiet and very reliable it's needed nothing but a rear wheel bearing and oil changes. Has great visibility and drives really nice the gas pedal is a little touchy, and it sips gas I ave 30mph in winter and 34mph in summer

Just purchased a new CX-30. Very pleasant experience! Our salesman was Mike and he was great and very knowledgeable of the accessories. We spent extra time with him on learning all the SUV features and he didn’t mind at all!

Love my Forester only drawback is the tires are made of a soft compound and you only get 25k miles then they need to be replaced.

I told them I wanted my tires rotated, per my plan. They did not do that. I drove away before I realized it. So I immediately returned abd asked why. They stated it was because they claimed the tread thickness was at the margins and it wouldn't make a difference. But I had to show, because of uneven wear on the front, that they did need rotated. The desk guy agreed once he saw and they rotated them. It was poor practice to not rotate, per my request and my plan, and even worse to not tell me they hadn't rotated them. Generally I like the place so I rated a four, but this time it was really a 2 or 1. Lastly, I tried to call service dept twice before my visit. Neither time did anyone answer, nor did they return my messages.

10/29/2022 2 wks ago i bought 2018 forester premium. Overall very happy with the vehicle. It feels solid for a small car.The drivers seat is very comfortable for me. Im 6"0 and weight 230lbs. My only complaint so far is freeway driving. Seems to wander alot and if on grooved payment with wind then it becomes a chore to drive.
