Great car, but...

We chose this car over the Santa Fe and VW Atlas. Definitely better quality than the Santa Fe and better engine performance than the VW Atlas. The tech features are nice, but not better than the Hyundai tech package. The biggest surprise is how much we underestimated the impact of the HORRIBLE navigation system in Toyotas. Trying to use it is an exercise in insanity. Truly a masochistic dream. The best part of the navigation system is when it is not on. Toyota should be ashamed of it and people should be fired. I have been a Toyota supporter for years, and the Highlander is a great all around car, but the frustration of using the navigation system is killing my desire to buy another Toyota. Either build one that works or use Android Auto.

Ok but not like the older ones

This suv would not be half bad except for the horrible wind noise front passenger. Toyota looked at it twice and won't admit there is excess wind much more fix it. I am working with them but I suspect I will be let down. If this is the case I will dump it and drive my 2002 until it dies and then buy a ford f 150 rather than a tundra.. Yes its that bad!!! I loved the 2002, this one not so much and not just the wind. The gps is useless and hard to use, the voice commands are 100% useless. ask it for pizza and it comes back with steak, not even close. I choose to use my $159 garmin which is 10X better and I never ever had to open the manual. Also the shut off at stop sign is useless and annoying. Overall its a solid 3 with nothing special and no redeeming options. It is my 6th Toyota/ lexus and probably the only one that isn't 5* It is probably 1 month from going on the lot unless they can fix the horrible wind., then I might look past all the average stuff.

This is our second highlander, had a 2008 sport and loved it. Never a problem after 165,000 miles. But wanted more safely features of forward collection, blind spot monitors and lane departures alert with back up sensors. Found a limited with these features. Couldn't be happier. Quality built and roomy. Good fuel mileage and well built.

I just had the most unbelievable, remarkable, outstanding service of my life. A truck I recently purchased broke on me while pulling an RV for a planned vacation. I am not accustomed to having people keep their promises, or do the right things just because they are right. I am used to excuses and justifications and meanness especially once a company has my money. Toyota could do better

This vehicle is great performance wise. I own a v6 so it is fun to drive. Very comfortable, helpful for long distance driving. With that said, there is a few things Toyota can improve. For one, the shield front seat cushion detached from the seat with weeks of the purchase, I went to the dealer they told me it was not under warranty. The hole covers don’t stay in place, some of the plastic just broke. Seatbelt does always work on first pull.

I test drove and compared the 2018 Honda Pilot, Nissan Murano, and Toyota Highlander. I chose the Highlander for reliability and all around better car for our needs and taste. I got the AWD XLE as it seemed to be the best version for the money. I liked the looks of the captain chairs in the second row, but opted for the full bench instead for friendlier seating for three adults instead of having to put one in the third row which is more for kids than adults. So far I love the car and the MPG has been very respectful.

When I initially called, the sales rep on the phone wasn't fully informed and said the final sale number was much higher that I was willing to pay. I called back and worked with Mark Roberts who was very good to work with and got me a final number very quickly, which was hundreds lower than the price the first rep quoted me. It took a total of 9 days to put down a deposit and have the car delivered to my front door in South Dakota. I spent less time sending/receiving paperwork with them than I have sitting in a local dealership, which was nice. This is my 3rd "sight unseen" vehicle purchase, and probably the best one so far. The vehicle itself (2013 BMW 328i w/70k miles) was delivered in very good condition, with the exception of a broken trim piece with cost me $40 to replace - I didn't bother going after them for it since the rest of the car is very good. No matter how many pics are posted online, there's nothing like seeing a vehicle in person and I wasn't disappointed. While it wasn't exactly a "great deal", considering the free delivery and low dealer fees (compared to much of the country), I feel like I paid the correct market value for the car. I will certainly consider them again for my next vehicle.

I must say.... not only did my car ( 2013 BMW 535i Gran Turismo xdrive) get the proper service, I was personally over impressed by the hands on courtesy I received from the team at Momentum BMW Mini. When I brought my car to their service department I was greeted at my vehicle by a representative who kindly directed me to the service area. My service representative was named RICK RAWLANDS whom I had spoken to over the phone but wasn't in his office when I arrived but to my amazement he had left instructions with the front desk clerk that I would be coming and they took great care of me. Though they did have a shuttle to take me back to my destination the service and parts manager SHAWN offered to personally take me. In that short period of time with him I came to the conclusion that he was an honest and stand up person.... he even gave me a BMW Tee shirt and assured me that he would make sure that all of my needs would be met. The following day was a Saturday and I returned to the service department where I met EMILY who was very curtious, hands on and attentive to my needs. EMILY made sure that I was set up in a 2017 430i loaner. Monday morning I stopped in to meet up with Rick who had been off for the weekend to see if I could get the car to duplicate my issue. After my arrival he immediately called over his shop Forman named BRYAN who went out for a drive with me and we were able to get the car to duplicate the problem which turned out to be the lower fuel pump. Wednesday they were all done and my car runs superbly. Needless to say I give this service team a 10 out of 10 and would be confidant to bring my car here again over anywhere else in this city. Hands down they are the best I've ever dealt with. Great job Momentum!!!!!

Very disappointed bought top of line in model Platinum chrome but did not include automatic start or individual tire psi or specific low tire designation or automatic interior lighting when doors are open including rear hatch which at night is rediculous. Also the PCS I’m sure doesn’t work had a close call on rte 95 in South Carlolina and not so much as a waning tested it many times myself to see if I would at least get a Warning no such luck. Complained to the dealer and he said he tested it in Cruise control and since it wired in this mode the PCS IS OK . Didn’t convince me since I think there has to better way to check out the PCS especially when I had a bad experience with it but fortunately turned out fine because of my evasive action which still should have given me at least a warning because it was so close

My experience was epic with these gentlemen who worked with me regarding my needs for a new vehicle. Terrance Dixon was the sajesnan who greeted me as I exited my car and initiated professional communication with me asking the necessary questions to see what was required to earn my business. Mr Courtney G. then stepped in and also assisted being a dedicated member of the team. We went through the numbers and the gentlemen were adamant about me taking a vehicle and driving it for the experience over night. I declined, but that spoke volumes of their trust and dedication to gaining my patronage. We decided on a vehicle and it was the general manager; Michael Hartmann, who remembered my after 2-3 years of stepping into DonMcGill initially inquiring about the Tundra. Mr. Hartmann went in and worked with the guys and found the perfect vehicle for me. Spanking brand new Toyota Tundra Texas Édition w/ all of the bells and whistles I needed to carry out my daily functions as an Agriculture Advisor in the Katy ISD district. With the hundreds if deals that Mr. Hartmann works and handles, he was conscientious of what I needed after all if the time had passed since I stepped foot in the showroom. THIS is paramount of Customer Service and what truly attracts customers like myself to new businesses. I come from a die hard, dedicated FORD family .... but the experience with these 3 gentlemen really turned the tide and as they welcomed me to the Don McGill Family, I know I am in the perfect place now. Even though I had my own financing, the gentlemen were respectful of my wishes and did not present any options in any pushy manner. Chris Fernandez was also instrumental in my purchase by providing my documentation via usb drive (classy) as well as went thru options for any future purchases I could possibly have with Toyota!

The journey was a bit rough the first year, 2017, having to wait one whole year to buy this car, because of the damages done to it by the toyota repo man, which should of never of happened. Moving forward, when it was sold back to me by toyota, I did not know nor was I informed that the vehicle was damaged by the repo, during the re-purchasing of this vehicle that is. Now having to eat $5,919.00 and be upside down, and plus the price of another vehicle, is the bad news. Now, financing $29,834.46, Because I wanted to be happy with my vehicle, so I got the this one. I am Not 100% happy with the deal , but I am hundred percent happy with the car! thank you Ken

I had a 2017 model that was totaled, however my wife who was driving it did not have a scratch except the pains from the accident.All air bags opened instantly and the seat belt tightened immediately preventing her head hitting the steering or windshield. The other car was also totaled , however the other driver had several broken bones.Therefore we decided to buy the same car and same model but the 2019.

I needed a 7 passenger vehicle that was more reliable than my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. I wanted everything that my pac had. This limited was it! It had Everything I wanted including a Navi system. Only thing I wish it had were parking sensors like my Lr2 has.( my lr2 doesn’t have a backup system 😞) Very reliable!! Had for two years and just replaced rear brakes & key fob battery. Luv keyless entry. Cant go wrong. The seats are not as comfortable as I would have liked( drove to Ohio, Virginia & Iowa) and it’s not as comfortable as my lr2) very Good buy especially here in the North East! No problems!

This car met all my needs. Lots of legroom and steering wheel controls are the best yet. Handles well with great suspension. Looks sharp and really like the headlights and roominess inside cabin. Sunroof fun since never had one before. Really great car!!
