2007 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA S (997.1) CABRIOLET VIN: WP0CB29967S776796 60,139 MILES “Refinement is a word that gets tossed around pretty freely in the car biz, but I can't think of a better term to sum up the latest 911 (997.1). The ride quality's hard edges are smoother, the cabin is quieter, the shifting more precise, the look and feel of the interior materials richer. The elements that will score with 911 purists - improved performance and front end sheet metal that's not Boxster-esque—are certainly welcome. But for a guy increasingly devoted to hedonism (with no diminution of need for speed), the new 911 scores because it's far more pleasant in day-to-day driving. This is an intensely desirable car.” —Tony Swan - Car and Driver. This one checks all the right boxes – it’s a 997, the last of the analog 911s. It’s a Carrera S, which means a larger engine with more horsepower. It’s a 6 speed manual. Enough said, it looks great with its Meteor Gray Metallic paint, 19” Carrera sport wheels and red brake calipers, and it has a clean Carfax. Complementing the Meteor Gray metallic paint is a black convertible top and a black full leather Interior. The vehicle is powered by a 3.8 liter flat six cylinder boxer engine connected to a 6 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. The motor produces 350 hp and will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is 179 mph. Options include the Meteor Gray Metallic paint, full leather interior, power seat package, self-dimming mirrors, heated front seats, floor mats and 19” Carrera Sport wheels. Aftermarket items include an upgraded sound system, an available radar system and a car cover. Service records and the original window sticker are also included. The car is in excellent condition. The current owner bought the vehicle in October, 2021 from the online auction house, Bring a Trailer. Since then, he has driven the car approximately 1,000 miles. He has changed the oil and filter three times, the most recent May 13, 2025, replaced the water pump and idler, battery and front brake pads and rotors, a/c compressor and switches and trunk lid switches. Porsche was my dream car and have owned the 2007 911 Carrera S for many years. It is everything I desired in a car. Smooth, fast, reliable and beautiful Black with Black interior and manual shift. I have owned two Corvettes, an MGB and Pontiac GTO, but the Porsche 911 is a keeper.
